Stopped in at 9pm for a quick slice and were not disappointed! Restaurant is cute and clean and the staff is VERY friendly. 3 stars for the pizza, as it was a little dry and greasy, but we will be back to try something new!

This was my first Family Trip to NY, tho my husband and I have been to NY before, this was the first time with my 4 yr old and 1 yr old. When i first walked in my family was treated amazing. I was a bit scared to even eat out due to many places in NY aren't kid-friendly, but this place was great, very small and quaint, but definitely felt like I was at home. My boys enjoyed the Pizza, but let me tell you the Lasagna was out of this world. best I have eaten thus far in the East coast. I promised myself this family friendly place deserved more then 5 and were so attentive, they did not make me feel like another customer, they made me feel as if they had known me and my family for years.

After a long morning of walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and exploring Chinatown and Little Italy, we decided to try a slice. We found Sal's, and based on the recommendation of a local who was eating on the patio, decided to give them a chance. We all opted for a simple slice of pepperoni pizza. This was by far the best slice I've ever eaten. The crust was crispy, the sauce was flavorful and the mozzarella was fresh! My entire family raved about this meal for the rest of our trip and we will make it a point to come back when we next return to the city.

Pizza was delicious and very large. Hot out the oven. Service could have been quicker. Only one waitress to cover all the tables in the dining room. Bathroom needed attention.
