It was my first time here, but it won't be my last. This was a delight to come to this restaurant. The food was so good that those flavors were like a treat to your tongue palates.
The food is next level flavors. I had the Seafood Paella, and it was one of the best I've had in my time. The Seafood Ajillo rice was also a big hit. Steaks cooked to your liking. The food portions are very good
The red sangria just added more goodness to my visit. It was such a hit that we got another one, just because one pitcher was not enough.
Staff was on point. They were very friendly and attentive, not just to my group, but I also took notice that other guests received the same service as well. My only concern was that the booth was a bit tight for my group of 4 adults and 1 teenager.
This restaurant is highly recommended to anyone.
I visit this place as often as I can when I visit New York City. The food is consistently delicious. The Lobster Special - scrumptious. And their frozen margaritas - delightful. They even make broccoli delectable. One of my favorites...
2nd time of go to the amazing restaurant. Staff extremely attentive , friendly and professional.
Best food ever . Rib with fruit sauce are out of this world .
This place is "ESPECTACULAR"!!! Once a friend and I stopped by for dinner but it was closed, and today at work, in an informal conversation with a customer regarding my job anniversary, he highly recommended a restaurant and I was shocked when I saw the name in the business card he took out from his wallet " I have been going there for over 35 years..." A coincidence??? Nope! A revelation as my Mom 🙏 always told me! Yes, I had a very special occasion and I had to celebrate! Lovely! Short walk from Christopher St-Sheridan Sq subway station (1 Train red line). Great ambiance, nice Spanish playlist, welcoming Owners, and professional and kind staff, fast service too, thank you, Juan Carlos and Jesus! i started "digging in" my fresh and tasty bread basket, a "must have" with butter, I ordered a Piña Colada, Cod Fish Empanadillas, and Veal with sautéed mushrooms in red wine sauce which comes with salad and rice served separately. No room for rice pudding, Tarta de Santiago, and Spanish coffee, great excuse to go back soon! Kudos to you all, you have a lovely place, great service, and awesome food!!!
First and foremost this is a walk-in place so no OpenTable or Resy reservations.
Came here with my wife and kid for a Spanish food night and the wait was quite long (but worth it). They were pretty full to the brim but we decided to wait as people there were also waiting so the food may be really good.
Turns out the food is actually really good and tasty. We ordered the seafood paella and chicken paella and had probably the best calamari. The drinks were pretty good (and wallet friendly).
The atmosphere was quite well and it seems that most of the clientele are regulars so it made me want to also be a regular here hehehehe.
Overall, will be coming back here. I used to go to Leña and La Nacional but I think this little spanish spot tops both said.
We loved the ambiance and the food that my kid ate the clams for the first time.
I had been meaning to visit Sevilla for years, and finally made it.
In the middle of the sweltering NYC heat, entering the restaurant was a welcome reprieve. There is a distinct historic vibe that made me feel like I had one foot in old New York and historic Spain.
The food was very good with very generous portions.
I will be back for sure.
Love love love the food. I had some tasty ham croquets , a seafood Paella, a house sald and a Birthhday Flan as wepl as a cafe con leche🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 This was my Birthday lunch 🙏👍
The waiters were all feiwndly attentive and sweet.
The owner of the restaurant wholeheartedly made sure to pay each table a visit to confirm everything was ok. We enjoyed our table specific musical performance with a nice happy birthday song for our special guest. The owner of the restaurant joined in. The musical performer was so incredibly gifted & seemed to know, and have the ability to play perfect songs for each table. I highly recommend this place. I felt like I was as close as could get to Spain with out leaving NYC! Then there was the food… we all shared everything & our compliments to the chef hung in the air. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was on par with the owners standards.
This place is the definition of old school restaurant. The food was amazing, lots of apps and sangria and you have to get the paella! No reservations are taken, the décor with paintings and vintage lamps at every table gives it an authentic feel. The restaurant reminds me of many restaurants in the city of Sevilla very dark and candle or lamp lit, paintings, lots of conversation and music.
Great vibes & always delicious food @Servilla!
Had seafood 🦞paella, Filet of Sole w/green sauce, rice + Cocktails🍸🍸
This restaurant was outstanding.
Perfect service. Nice warm atmosphere.
Pork chops weekend mouthwatering. Salad fresh & delicious. Chicken w almond sauce was amazing. Drinks & Deserts were delicious.
I have been coming here with my parents since I was very young maybe around 10? Now as an adult I had a wonderful date night with my husband. I find it amazing that the food consistency has been the same for the past 20 years. It is exactly as I remembered when I was a child. Added bonus, the family that runs it knows who I am and asks how my family is.
Best paella and sangria ever , but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The veggie paella is really vey good , way better than I expected. We get a small paella , split it for two and still end up with food to go. The setting has an authentic Spanish charm, but can get really crowded.
Always enjoy the time at Sevilla. Never let me down. They have the best (and inexpensive) sangria and paella! Definitely order them for your first visit! Nice and efficient service.
Authentic Spanish food and vibe from everyone who works there. The chorizo is really good and paella is very well served (they say for 2 people, I would say maybe 3 depending on how many entrees you had before)
This place first opened in 1941 and that experience, class and tradition continues to this day! The atmosphere, the interior are exquisite. There's a pay phone in here and it still works! The portraits all around the restaurant are amazing.
Sitting by the window, watching beautiful West Village and it's parade of initiating people was fascinating. Zero rush or hurry by the waiters - and the service was excellent, top notch - as they brought bread, and salad and then what we ordered.
And the food? Fughedaboutit. The paella was perfection. Lobster and clams and mussels and chicken and Spanish sausage in perfect rice from a pot brought to your table.
I will be back Sevilla, you beautiful f$#in' restaurant. You blast from the past. You relaxed good times. Thank you for staying great as all of New York changed around you. Thank you, thank you, thank you
