One of best coffees in town. The roasting is on the light side which is exactly the way we like it. They have sitting area on the second floor but only a handful of spots. They also have a few benches outside which is nice when the weather is good.

The young lady behind the counter helped me try out a new drink when they didn't make the vanilla latte I'll usually order when at a coffee shop. She explained how it's made and where the drink historically comes from. The little bit of seating above the order area is cute. Loved my coffee and Blue Bottle won a patron for life! Fantastic and quick service.

Reminds me of my time back in SF. Originally from SF, Blue Bottle has made its way over to New York with its wonderful cold brew and espresso drinks. If you arenā€™t the biggest fan of cold brew, try the mocha. They use fair trade chocolate that when added to a latte, makes it taste like a sultry cup of goodness

I've been wanting to check out blue bottle for years and was excited with high expectations. All expectations where met and exceeded; I had a pour over of the costs rica. Surprisingly smooth finish beginning to end, simply put the coffee roasting and brewing is on point to making a successful balanced cup of black coffee. Amazing!

Blue bottle is the best if you donā€™t mind a little extra in price. The little New Orleans cold brew is my favorite, when I need a jolt of energy.

In NYC, I love blue bottle more than la colombe/birch/stumptown.

These guys brew coffee with precision, and it's rather impressive. Their minimalist design is pleasing to the eye. The small location has a decent upstairs area where you can sit, write, and maybe ponder some of life's big questions. Oh, and the coffee is good. There's some room for improvement, but if you want a nice cup of coffee without selling out to the Starbucks god, and you're in the area, then come here. You won't be disappointed.

Blue Bottle is the best coffee chain ever. Amazing coffee and friendly staff. Not your typical coffee chain because of the care that goes into each coffee is top quality. This location is conveniently located beside Chelsea Market and the High Line walkway. You can't ask for a better location. Perfect way to start any day in New York. Don't miss this gem.

I come here once a week, and I enjoy the great high quality blue bottle coffees. I usually get an oatmeal cappucino, one works perfectly. Staff is very friendly, I sit outside for 40mins while reading. Lots of puppies come here too, they get a free treat as a complimentary from their owners daily coffee. Great way to start mornings :-).

Love this place! Look at their espresso! The crema is intact and it has chocolaty and smooth. Plus they have the best customer service! This is not for those average starbucks customers who are in a hurry to go to work but for people who love the taste of coffee that is carefully brewed.

This coffee is out of this world! I came here based off of a recommendation and it did not disappoint. I get the New Orleans (about $3.50 I believe), a great cup of iced coffee; very smooth and tasty! The baristas are friendly and help you to find whatever type of roast you are looking for. Their sweet treats are also good. I got the snickerdoodle cookie for my sweet tooth. Just a tip: All of their coffees are one size and it looks small. Also, the prices are a bit high for the size of coffee (comparable to Starbucks pricing), but it fits the boutique-vibe of the shop. There is no small/medium/large option, but the coffee is strong and tasty so I do not mind!

Great! The pour over I had was a tad over-extracted, but despite this it was decent. I ordered the Ethiopian but they made me Alma Via (or whatever it is called), with this I got a complementary dark chocolate that goes with it. I wasn't a fan because it had notes typical of Brazilian beans. I really enjoy Blue Bottle Coffee and the whole brand still. This store has more seating than their Bryant Park and Rockafeller Centre stores. Good stuff!

I wish all coffee chains were like this. The single origin espresso is highly recommended!
