Cosme - New York City - Photo album

Food 9/10 Each dish had a solid kick to it. The shrimp and cabbage really stood out to me because of how fiery the flavors were. The octopus had a nice sauce. The duck carnitas were solid, but they were slightly dry so that was a small let down. Definitely recommend their appetizers though, a big va
The service and atmosphere was great. The food was also very good. We shared the duck which was cooked perfectly and delicious. We tried a couple small plates and although a great combination of flavors the price for the portion does not seem justified. I’d certainly recommend for a new experience.
The ambiance was nice and intimate and no matter how lively it was you could comfortably hold a conversation. Service was impeccable. The food and drinks were delicious albeit slightly overpriced imo. The blue crab appetizer and the duck entree were my favorite. And they made a damn good café con le
I dined at Cosme to celebrate a birthday and had one of the best meals I’ve encountered in New York! Every item we ordered was absolutely impeccable and surprising in the best way possible. Though expensive (we split five plates), it is definitely worth it considering the quality of food. Atmosphere
I had an amazing experience! Everything I ate and drank was delicious and flavorful. The standouts were the duck carnitas, guacamole, fluke ceviche and lobster Al pastor. Our server was great. The kitchen might have forgotten about a couple of our dishes because there were some delays, but our serv
Came here around 8pm on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was at capacity. You definitely need a reservation here even during the week. The vibe of the place and the service were great. The food however was nothing special for how much it costs.
I went here for dinner with a group of colleagues. The interior is dim with a good vibe and energy. Service is great from host to bag/coat check, explaining of the menu, and checking up on you. Seemed like they had a lot of staff to have a good service ratio. The presentation and taste of food were
I had gone to ATLA the night before (same chef) so I was a bit hesitant, but Cosme made me an Enrique Olvera believer again. The vibe (and prices) is definitely more upscale, but so is the service and creativity in many of the dishes. The ceviche tostada with bone broth was inspired, and the duck em
Unique food choices which tastes good! A great experience with great ambience. There’s a waiting area for you to get drinks or sit and wait for the rest of your party.
Don’t go if you don’t like to dine the dark. The food was delicious, and the cocktails too. The waiters gave good recommendations on how many plates we should order and what we should order if you have dietary restrictions.
If I could give them a 10 I would! Being Vegan it’s usually difficult to eat at non Vegan restaurants whenever we go out in larger groups for Birthday Dinners. The staff were EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helped my fiancé and I out with recommendations. The food was FANTASTIC. Their wine list was uniq
Delicious food, sophisticated mole sauce in the mole de la casa, loved the tender duck carnitas, and the soft shell crab with their tamarind/avocado mint sauce was tasty too (and I generally don’t like eating soft shell but theirs was enjoyable and the shell not too hard). The corn husk meringue was
Came here for me and my girlfriend’s anniversary. Found out about this place through a YouTube video showcasing the duck tacos and corn dessert. Detail orientated restaurant with quality ingredients and excellent service. Great bang for your buck and would recommend for anyone looking for honest Mex
We had Corn Meringue, Duck Carnitas for the table, Hiramasa and Octopus as our app. They were all amazing! They’re known for the Corn Meringue dish but I was pleasantly surprised with the Duck dish. Highly recommend.
Definitely excellent food and absolutely incredible service! Also by far the most expensive restaurant on our recent NYC trip. The waitress explained the menu to us clearly and quickly, and we made our selection very fast. My husband has Celiac Disease and cannot have any gluten even through cross
