This location is great! Right next to the little Italy sign. The host didn’t not acknowledge us at all for quite some time however the waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious but not the best I’ve had which was kind of a let down since it’s in THE little Italy and we have better spots in Texas. Even though I wouldn’t say it’s the best food I’ve had, it was still very delicious and we are happy we ate here. Would come back just to try different menu items

It's a restaurant with a bold history but can be described as a touristic place around Little Italy. The interior decoration is old but elegant and you can also dine outside of the place on Mulberry Street. Service was pretty friendly and helped us a lot. Pasta is homemade and prime with fresh ingredients. The only downside of the restaurant is that the tables inside are so close to each other and pretty crowded to walk through.

I recently dined at Da Gennaro and was impressed by the inviting atmosphere and attentive service. The cozy ambiance added a delightful touch to the dining experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall enjoyment. However, I found the pasta a bit too salty for my taste, and the pumpkin soup, while flavorful, had an overwhelming hint of cinnamon. Despite these minor drawbacks, the positive aspects of the restaurant make it a worthwhile choice for those seeking a pleasant Italian dining experience ✨ Loved the Christmas decorations, it was so beautiful!

This place is super cute there are red booths brick walls floral going across the ceiling the ambiance was very charming. We stayed simple and got the penne Al vodka and margarita pizza. A classic choice and we were happy about it. The garlic bread and complimentary bread before the meal was good as well. Carlos was our server, he was very friendly the whole time. We asked for a picture and he gave us a photo shoot. Very accommodating staff. If you are looking for a lovely little Italy for your quick New York vacation or night out with friends stop in. Great experience with a good atmosphere and very was a live vocalist singing in front for a majority of the meal.

An hour wait for our food during Little Italy festival. Pizza is pretty good but only four slices , the size of a personal pie. A small plate of pasta, very good sauce. Overall it’s pricey for what you get.

Excellent food and service, especially, by Farouq.(excellent host) & Victor (head waiter). Al fresco dining with great ambience. Grilled fillet of branzino was exceptional…crispy skin and delicious, juicy meat. Pasta dishes were al dente with delicious sauce. The grilled octopus appetizer was very tender & tasty. Great music, sound system.

Great spot for Sunday evening dinner. Cozy and romantic atmosphere with candles on each table and plenty of windows. Food was amazing. The spaghetti di gamberi had a delicate but flavorful sauce. Enjoyed the big shrimp and al dente noodles. The rigatoni gennaro was packed full of flavor with peas, prosciutto, and mushrooms in a creamy tomato sauce. Service was a bit slow but this was a great late night option on a Sunday night when not many other restaurants were open.

Good food served well at NYC prices. Regarding the atmosphere: it is the Little Italy atmosphere, I cannot say if it is close to Italian atmosphere. Sadly we noticed too late that the lasagna was partly cold. The cocktails are pricy but (Ginger Mule in our case) good. Price-performance ratio: 3/5

Came here about 9 years ago and revisited this NY trip. Had such an amazing experience here, absolutely incredible food - we had the lobster ravioli, cheese ravioli & the bomba and crème brûlée for dessert. Service was 10/10 thanks to our server Carlos. Will definitely be visiting next trip, best in Little Italy!!

Came upon this restaurant when visiting the San Gennaro Festival. Kids were starving and tired and needed to sit! The service was quick and the staff were lovely and friendly. Even tho it was 2230, the atmosphere was lovely, music playing, locals still out eating and drinking, we got an outside table and watched the world go by while eating! The food... absolutely beautiful, giving us the feels of Italy. garlic bread for starters Lasagne Cheese Ravioli Spaghetti carbonara All beautifully made and tasted amazing! Would definitely recommend.
