I can’t begin to say enough great things about this place. This was a place that I always wanted to visit and it didn’t disappoint. Food and drinks were fantastic and the service was incredible. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about going here.
Spacious place at nice location, can host big groups. Got a reservation for 9 people on a Sunday afternoon the same day.
For drinks got the mixed berry margarita on the rocks. It was good, nice punch.
Ordered chips and guac, guac was very average. For mains got the chicken burrito and cauliflower tacos, both of them were baseline. Tacos portion size is good for one person.

I’ve been coming to this same location for about 8+ years and it’s always amazing. Super happy that the chicken poblano is available, it is my absolute favorite dish & the fresh guac is always on point. My favorite drink is the esposa loca ( crazy wife) lol … but I recommend all their drinks to be honest.
i never write reviews but this one is well deserved! i’ve been to caliente a hand full of times and they have never disappointed. the staff are wonderful (shout out lucy) and every dish i’ve tried has been great. also, who doesn’t love a big ol margarita :p
Margaritas were SO yummy. The food was good too, very filling, but nachos lacked sour cream. Very busy spot, would recommend making a reservation if you’d rather eat inside. Bathrooms are located downstairs, very crowded restaurant on busy hours, kind of crammed in the outside seating area.
I was in the area for an event that didn't work out, so we walked in and got seated immediately. My friend and I enjoyed the service, and the food/drinks were delicious. I got the special Arroz con Pollo (rice and chicken)
Alberto is the best bartender. Goes beyond the stars, his service is always on point. Food is great and so are the drinks!! I will definitely go back.
We cannot make a trip to NYC without stopping for a meal at Caliente Cab!

So much fun!!! I went with a group and we had a blast! Our server ANA C. was so nice and gave us great suggestions, we got a huge margarita to share and it was delicious plus all the food was wonderful! I can't wait to go back next Friday night 🎉
Every time we’re nearby we come by to dine here. Always have taken great care of us. This visit Armando served us with excellent service. He made the night exciting and fun 🤩. If undecided his recommendations on the menu are delicious 🤤.
Alejandro Duque, gave an excellent service, such love of a person! Wish all waiters were as warm welcoming as him, the food was delicious! Hopefully next time I visit he can be my waiter again. Restaurant also looks amazing and clean.

Excellent location and I love the decoration of the place, It is a very spacious and excellent restaurant for informal meetings in a large group. I would recommend better customer service from the waiters, The man who served us seemed not to be so friendly. drinks with alcohol or without alcohol please buy the large glass, the small size is very expensive and it really is super small and not worth it.
Food was good... server was nice. The street corn was superb. The venue was nicely decorated.
Always a must do for me in New York. Great food and great margaritas. My favorite here is the frozen raspberry margarita! The guacamole is fresh and tasty and you can ask for it at whatever spice level you prefer. This time I got the chicken poblano enchiladas, and the sauce on then is addictive! The black beans and rice come out in an iron skillet and are really tasty as well.
I’ve been there 4 times now and the food and service and is always great. This time Around we had a waitress named Lucy and she was super sweet and kind!! Our food was bright fast and so were our drinks
Sat outside on the enclosed patio at sunset, was a nice view. Everything from the minute we walked in and greeted to the end of dinner was great. Friendly and courteous staff made the night. Appetizers of steak tacos and chips and homemade guacamole was delicious. Generous portions for dinner, steak burrito was huge.

Great food and lovely service! The drinks were weak, but the food made up for it! A big menu of vegetarian options, and the nachos and street corn were both amazing! Large space and good ambience, quiet enough to have a good conversation.
I tried the pineapple margarita but it didn't have a punch to it.
