Looks like a typical cross town bar but has a great atmosphere and exceptionally well prepared food. Not a big menu but the selections provide for a nice lunch or an excellent dinner. My daughter and I were having a pre birthday dinner. The place is lovely. We particularly recommend the Brussels sprouts!!! Delicious.
The food is delicious so are the drinks. The waitress was super nice to make sure the soup was vegan. We will be back for sure.
Early dinner after an enjoyable matinee. Never been to Croton but a place we wanted to try!
Host/waiter greeted us upon entering and seated us quickly. Great service and even more wonderful food!! We will be back when we’re in the ‘hood!!!

We came in a Saturday around 7 and the restaurant was just about empty, which made me nervous. However, we were seated at the bar and was met by the nicest bar tender. He provided exceptional service and I wish I could remember his name. The cocktails were good and the food was very good. Next time
Spirited atmosphere and an energetic vibe. Food was nice with fresh vibrant vegetables. Bartenders were polite, attentive and responsive.
I've been here a couple of times, and it's hit or miss food wise. Service is usually good, but they are out of things a lot. For example, I went tonight and tried to order the steak sandwich. Nice place in the craziness of Bryant park! Service here was good. Beer line can use some checking as we had a couple flat lagers in our group...but all in all good place to visit if you’re in the area

Fantastic classic New York bar, with very friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming, wheelchair friendly, accommodating to allergies. Delicious food, reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit if you want a drink or a bite to eat.
It was pleasant, We sat outside although it lightly rained. The staff took about 6 umbrellas and pushed them together to give us shelter for our CLUB T.I.N.G Meet & Greet. Everyone had a great time and would definitely go back.

Good place for a drink in the evening. Prices are ok. Had good talks with the bartender. Havent checked their food, but looks good from what Ive seen.
Host greeted us immediately upon arrival and sat us at our reserved table promptly. Our waiter was engaging, efficient and our drinks and salads were delicious. Would definitely return. Highly recommend.
Always a great time at Croton. Jason, Kaberle, Daryl and the rest of the staff are always accommodating. Best place to unwind after a crazy work day.
