I love the food here. Beef was very tender and scallops were very flavorful. Desserts were fantastic!!! The only complain I have would be the bread, they were not served warm. Other than that, everything else was fantastic! Would definitely want to come again.

French. Went for restaurant week lunch and it was really tasty. The service seemed a bit lacking, but the atmosphere and food made up for it. With such a fancy restaurant, the portions weren't so filling of course. Can't imagine paying for a three course meal without the restaurant week event. Would've loved to try more delicious foods next event.

The food was authentic and amazing. We had a perfect cheese souffle, excellent mussels, and a mouthwatering chocolate souffle. The manager, Ryan, couldn't have been more helpful in our wine selection, or in choosing the right dishes to savour. The service was slow, but with a fine French meal, and lovely atmosphere, that worked for us! We highly recommend Cognac!!

Normally we wouldn't stop by here since we live in Hell's Kitchen and right off Restaurant Row, but we took a chance and were very happy at did. The mussels and frites were delicious and so were the pancakes! I loved the Gougeres (cheese puffs). They are exactly they way they should be - light, airy and just enough cheese to make you want more.

The settings and feel might be average but not the food. We were five and ordered a variety of dishes, they were all exquisite.

Love this beautiful charming restaurant. Had such a wonderful experience the first time we looked for it again when we came back. Onion soup and lobster bisque worth the search!

This was the best experience I have ever had at any restaurant. There was a group of seven of us, all under the age of 35 who work together and not familiar with NY. We had no reservation booked but it wasn't an issue. We were greeted with the warmest welcome, treated like royalty, received food recommendations and surprised with multiple free desserts. Highly recommend ordering the Fillet Minion and the Coffee Creme Brule.

We had a very relaxing lunch here on a beautiful Saturday in late April. Nice window seats on a sunny day. The staff was very attentive but not pushy. All courses of the food were fantastic. We weren't on a tight deadline so we waited for the cheese souffle which was a nice mid-course for our lunch. There's a nice selection of drinks and wines. The house sauterne was a nice pairing for our desserts

Had breakfast here on Saturday morning. Elegant yet welcoming. Menu choices ranged from omelets to lemon pancakes to homemade brioche and eggs all with a French accent. Service was attentive and respectful. You must try the cheese puff appetizer. Prices about the same as the Brooklyn Diner a few blocks away but without the wait the noise and the tourists.

Great experience. My friends and i went before going to see a Broadway show. We were sat quickly. Took a few minutes for our waiter to arrive though. Great drinks. When our food came out something wasn't quite right with my friend's dish. Called the maitre d over. He took it away, removed it from the bill and quickly got her a replacement dish. He also came back to explain what happened and apologized. We ordered dessert and when it came out they compt it for us! That's great customer service!!

Very cozy, dark, moody...mucho ambiance. Lots of dark wood and amber glow. Cognac signature cocktails are interesting, but only one actually has cognac in it. I had two and both were stellar. For eats, I had the Cognac Rotisserie Chicken - and it was exceptionally tasty. I sat at the bar and the service was stellar - Ivan was great!! If I was in the dating market, I would definitely see this place as a great first date spot. Very pleased!
