Love this family style Italian restaurant! The ambiance made us feel at home. And the food and service was excellent. We liked all the dishes we ordered. Highly recommend their generously portioned lasagna. Great history of loyal customers… I can see why it’s a favorite place for many local New Yorkers and families. We will be back again soon.
Excellent food, brilliant service, and a lovely atmosphere. I was staying on the opposite side of town but took the trip over here specifically to try this restaurant and I am very glad I did.
The "Famous Chopped Salad" was great. It has a good mix of veggies in with the greens and the dressing is a good complement.
My main course was the chicken parmesan with a half order of fettuccini alfredo. The chicken parmesan's pictures on Google Maps were why I came and it exceeded my expectations. The fettuccini alfredo was likewise delicious.
I would be remiss if I did not also comment on the service - top notch. David, the manager, and Damian, my waiter, were both great and I got everything I wanted. I will visit definitely visit again.
I eat alone traveling for work, a lot. This is a great neighborhood place which made me feel welcome. The food was solid, but what made it great was the atmosphere. It was obvious that the brothers who run it like each other and they like what they do. They know the regulars and the place was full with them on a Tuesday night. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the show. I had Cesar (which was great) and chicken parm (good). I wouldn’t come here for cocktails or wine. That said, I will come back because of the solid food and the friendly treatment.
This is an establishment in NYC
It’s a fantastic steakhouse that was opened in 1932
The service is professional
The food is great
The atmosphere is cozy
The service was fantastic, I felt like our waiter was always checking on us and my water glass was never more than half empty. Fettuccine Alfredo was perfect, creamy and not to much garlic. The Ceasar salad was great too. The decor wasn't anything special and felt a little out of date but the food made up for that!
This place is a MUST on every trip to NYC!
We stumbled upon Pietro’s on a previous visit to NYC and have to come back every time we visit! Don’t even hesitate one second to go here!
Chicken Parmigiana- mwwwuah! Probably the best I’ve ever had!!! 10/10
Veal Scallopini- mwwwwuah! 10/10 again - the best I’ve ever had!
Caesar salad - WITH anchovies!! Yes you don’t know they are in there but the flavour!!!! OMG! Delicious! 10/10
Spaghetti with meatballs - 10/10
You can’t go wrong - it’s a magical little hidden gem in mid-town that will rock your world!
Great service- top notch actually and wine flows!
Crème Brule for dessert 🤯
This is a well established Italian restaurant that feels like home.Off the beaten path,a reasonably priced, great tasting restaurant.
Excellent old school Italian spot. Surprisingly good steak. Service was okay and wines by the glass not great but that's not why you're here. The food is traditional NYC Italian and every dish was superb.
I had a great time here. The owner also was making sure that each table has been taking care of.
This is a classic New York Italian restaurant. The service here is superior. Have fun and be loud.
Great old school authentic Italian restaurant. Been around for many years and can understand why.
Not a fan of bland Italian food except for nice pizzas. This restaurant changed my perception of lack of flavors in Italian food. Caesar salad, Chicken parm, meatballs, and few other items tried were great. I’d Expensive to my liking.
Amazing food and ambiance and service. One of the best chicken parms i've ever had.
Great food. The manager was very nice. Good family sized portions. Don't go there if you're on a budget but well worth it.
