Had the Mediterranean pasta was light and garlicky which is right up my alley. A little over priced but conveniently located right next to our hotel. Good dirty martini too :)
After show fun. The Old Castle is excellent. It was our first visit to NY. After seeing the Spiderman show on Broadway we went in search of a cocktail and a late night snack. The Old Castle was everything we were looking for. Ultra-friendly staff, great service and good food. We'll be back
Good food for the price you pay. This isn't just your regular bar, service from the bartenders is AMAZING!!!! They are friendly and get to know customers. Get your Irish food here, it's really good.
Eh. Wouldn't go back for food, maybe just drinks. Had a burger. Place was super overpriced and the food was average at best. 6 beers, 3 burgers and an appetizer came to almost $90
Great bartender and great atmosphere. We came here on our last visit and brought friends with us this time. We will be back again!
I must say looking from the outside it did not look inviting. But once we were inside the staff and setting really was relaxing and warm. I had a wonderful evening.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and service. Very friendly place, great music and everything homemade and fresh, right down to the fruit and ice cream for the kids. Burgers were outstanding, salmon soup of the day was delicious. Will definitely be back!

I go there cause it's close to work but you don't get that much of a times square crowd. It's not to noisy and I generally can get a good seat at a high table... even if I'm only getting drinks. They have some happy hour beers. The food is ok, not great. My friend and I enjoy the chicken quesadilla. We'll generally split one over a few drinks. They give you guac, sour cream AND salsa with the appetizer... that's kind of rare. It's kind of an old timey looking place and very unassuming which adds to the appeal
Great service and even better food. I tried the potato skins and Chicken Alfredo. They were fast and curtious the skins were amazing! The Irish twist on the Alfredo was great as well. I would highly recommend this place.
Bartender was so nice and accommodating. Great place to pop in when you need to kill some time
one of the friendliest bars we found in NYC.. yes service can be slower at busy periods but where isnt. we always found service superb (we are from uk so being seated and seen in less than 15 mins is brilliant). the staff were always very friendly and polite and very accommodating. the food was always speedy and hot (again being from uk any meal served in less than 30mins is fast - but mostly order to food on table was around 15 mins or less).
we had xmas dinner here last year and if i could have got leave authorised from work we would be booking in again for this years xmas dinner.
WILL DEF BE BACK AND THIS BAR WILL BE THE FIRST ONE I VISIT WHEN I GO BACK TO NYC
Hubby and I stopped in for a quick drink to get out of the sweltering heat and stayed for two hours of World Cup action and Old Castle Brew (a mere $6 per pint)! Superb draughts and quality pub grub combined with attentive service complete with an Irish accent, made for a highly enjoyable afternoon.

Great Irish breakfast. Super nice bartender. The omlete with ham, cheese and onion was one of the best omletes I ever had! Light and fluffy.
