Great food at good prices! The atmosphere is casual and the food rustic. The drinks are lethal! We'll be back.

Went tonight and had the pork chop w/Scottish mac n' cheese and the carrot cake. Both wonderfully delicious! Loved the Belhaven Ale, too. I have to visit Scotland again soon!

Came here last night for the first time. We had just marched in The Tarten Day Parade for Stevens, & Graham Co. Glasgow Scotland. What an incredible dinner! Whiskey bread, Icelandic cod, & wonderful desserts. Great, friendly staff as well. Will be back soon, & often! ☆☆☆☆☆

Highlands has some great food. The menu is small however, and the price should really more accurately be rated $$$ instead of $$. Case in point being an $11 scotch egg which was minuscule. The scotch flights were a nice touch and really makes this place stand out. Overall I would recommend with a disclaimer that it’s more expensive than it seems.

Great spot for some Happy Hour beverages in a cosy environment. There's a few decent beers and some really great whiskys. The pre-7pm offer was a flight of 3 interesting Scotch Whisky tasters for $20, which was very reasonable. Draft beers were $5. Food was hearty and good for sharing. The space is split between the bar area (with some table seating) and the more formal dining space.

Enjoyed a terrific haggis with mashed potato and sweet potato, excellent service, and a nice cocktail. The Scottish samurai cocktail was a bit sweet for my liking but everything else about the experience was excellent. I would give them 4.5 stars for this experience. Looking forward to chatting with the bartender next time over a single malt scotch.

Cocktails were absolutely delicious. The food had a fun take on traditional Scottish foods. I had the lamb burger and it was a delicious mix of spices that added an extra oomph. I would highly recommend this for a cozy dinner and drink.

A great early dinner stop if you’re exploring Greenwich Village. Aside from the one haggis option, not sure the dinner menu is any more Scottish than it is high quality bar food. The burger is delicious and the sweet potato fries juice and served HOT. The cocktail list looks 👌.

vast selection of whisky, and some good flatbreads during happy hour. don't go for dinner as a vegetarian, as your options will be severely limited.

Discover great whiskies while enjoying great food! I loved the whisky flights and detailed whisky book. The staff were lovely, and I appreciated the comprehensive list of ingredients with each dish, eliminating any guesswork. The bar is noisy, but the dining room is cozy and much quieter. Really delightful all around!

I liked this place. We went at 6 on a Sunday (we had a 7:30 show to go to) and it was quiet and cozy. Service was attentive and pleasant. Had my first ever scotch egg, which I liked and then a perfectly grilled sea trout. My wife had the pork chop, which was good, with a fantastic side of Mac and cheese. We had a deal for 30% off which made our bill about 10% less than what I think the meal was actually worth, so I guess it's a little over-priced for me. But an excellent place if you're there when they're not too busy.

We went for dinner at 6 pm on a Tuesday without a reservation. The Friendly and knowledgeable wait staff say is immediately. The Scottish egg and Scottish Troy were delicious. The bread pudding dessert was the best I've ever had. The wine list was minimal, but a fantastic catalog is scotch

I've only had drinks here...will definitely be going back for food! It's hidden away in the West Village, such a cute place! I love scotch so I was thrilled I could go there and drink among people that enjoy a good drink! First time I went there was on a Tuesday, early evening. It wasn't crowded at all and enjoyed this drink of gin and scotch with a little pear, can't remember the name. Delicious! Next time I went was on a Friday, after 11pm--it was very crowded but I still managed to get to the bar and grab a scotch. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and seemed really friendly--one helped me give directions to a friend that was lost. Overall a great place but like I said I need to go back and sample the rest of the menu.

Surprisingly great food. Our group of 6 walked past this candlelit restaurant and were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation at 8pm on a Saturday night. The cocktails list was interesting. I tried The Lady of the Loch and it was delightfully light sweet, bitter and flavourful. Dinner was fantastic. We shared appetizers:the wild mushroom risotto, grilled octopus and heirloom tomato salad. Each one was a hit. I highly recommend the lamb shoulder pie with homemade mint jelly. Nice rich flavour with peas and carrots topped with a perfect puffed pastry top. The salmon I'm told was great and the beef was nothing special. Unfortunately, we were full before dessert but next time the Millionaire shortbread sounded tempting. Our cost per person is a little higher than what others stated but we also drank 2 bottles of wine, a handful of vodka drinks and prosecco. So adjust accordingly. We also did not sample any of their selections of scotch but will check that out next time.

I went for the pies, and sadly there were none on Sundays - but the delicious pork belly Sunday roast made up for it. Great trimmings, and the meat was done very well. The whisky list is impressive, as one might expect. They do a trivia night on Sundays which I am definitely planning to head back for.

The west village whiskey and date spot. Boisterous crowd at the bar so sometimes tough to get a drink but great spot to see everyone in the neighborhood. Food is good and whiskey flights are creative. Gets crowded so better to go earlier or later. Great ice cream place next door too.

My one note of negative critique about this place would be that the space is super dark and really cramped. On to the positive! Every bite (and yes that includes the haggis) is a delicious experience. The selection of cocktails, wine, and whiskies comes to you in a large bible-like book. The service was wonderful.

Very packed on a Thursday night, this turned out to be a good cocktail bar. Also a big selection of Scotch. Lots of cocktails for $12 which is quite reasonable for this type of place. Definitely gets very loud and it takes a while to get a drink when the place fills up, but the drinks are made very well.
