Kazunori - New York City - Photo album

Simple yet tasty. I went here for lunch and it had a long line outside the place. The wait is approximately about 20-25 minutes. The seating is a bar style. There is a hook underneath the table bar in where you can hook your belongings and a coating rack along the wall behind where you will be seate
Very good place overall, 7 out 10. The Toro handroll was very good. I don't understand why they have lobster & crab on their menu. They are very basic items; not very much flavor in these rolls are prepared in mayonnaise sauce. I feel that is equivalent to having a California Roll In an upscale rest
AMAZING value and quality for an AMAZING price. I would definitely recommend you visit, but be prepared for a ~45-60 minute wait on busy days. Fish is fresh and hand rolls are stuffed with lots of fish. Adding to the exceptional value… no tips are accepted.
There was a bit of a wait which i wasn’t expecting as a party of 1. I think they could have made it a bit more welcoming when I asked about a seat for 1 but I know there is quick turnover so the line did move relatively fast. The food was incredible and it was my first time trying raw scallops which
Love coming here, I make it a stop every time I’m in New York. First tried this place in 2019 and it’s still just as amazing. The food quality vs. price is insane, highly recommended. Don’t be scared by long lines, they do a good job of turning over customers so you won’t wait for long.
No reservations, so you just line up to be seated at the bar - I went solo which was great. I’d go with 2 other people maximum. You can order set menus of 3-6 hand rolls and then add others. I got the 6-roll set menu which was perfect! They lay out each hand roll on your place mat one at a time, and
Sushi rolls were extremely high quality. Would recommend that you try everything but I loved the toro, shrimp, and lobster. It can be a bit busy but union square location might be less busy than nomad. My only complaint is the seating. You sit tightly packed at the bar on uncomfortable stools. If yo
Our first New York dining experience led us to Kazunori, renowned for its exceptional handrolls 1️⃣ The Nozie: a mix of 6 handrolls with salmon, tuna, and more 2️⃣ The highlight was the "Today's Special": the fish heart roll. Uniquely crafted, it surprised us with its outstanding taste The sushi
This place was DELICIOUS, definitely worth the hype! I really liked how simple everything was. Get seated, pick your rolls and then then serve you “omakase style”. I had the toro, salmon and hamachi hand rolls, everything was fresh, seaweed was crunchy and the rice was perfect. Definitely recommend
My new favourite place in NYC for a quick snack! Upon arrival the host seats you (bar style seating only), and you’re promptly greeting by your server. The menu is simple and straightforward, you can choose to get any of the preset recommended rolls, or choose your own a là carte. The preset combos
A cold beer and warm hand rolls made right in front of you. Bliss. The toro rolls are my favorite - but the 6 rolls sets are fun. Get there before noon to avoid a long line.
I was looking for a quick bite after arriving in NYC and decided to try getting takeout from KazuNori. It took about 15-20 minutes to get the food and it came nicely packaged in an elegant cardboard container. I got the 16 piece set menu. They don't sell handrolls to-go, so these were cut maki roll
Soooo good and very affordable too! Fish was very fresh, the nori was so crispy, and the warm rice was really the star of every roll. 4-6 rolls per person is the sweet spot
Great experience at this hand roll sushi bar! Friendly stuff and amazing sushi made in front of you. We got the 6 hand roll option each, my favorite was the Bay Scallop!
Very convent and price wise very good choose. Easy and quick in and out with delicious hand rolls. Rice is good and warm, wrap is good, fish options are also on point. Not a very fancy high end sushi but way above average hand rolls. I will be a frequent visitor here for sure!
Even on the busy nights, they keeps things smooth. My favorite part about KazuNori is that the employees never seem stressed. That, and the consistency of the incredible hand rolls, keep me at ease and make this a go-to spot anytime I’m feeling sushi.
Amazing food. Good service. The wait was arounf 20mins when it's packed but its worth it.
don’t get me wrong— kazu nori is great and the handrolls were delicious for an affordable dinner in midtown. however: - wait can be long, 30 minutes at 5:30pm on a friday - the presentation was sloppy compared to nami nori - dim lighting, which is fine for dinner but not so great for lunch overall g
So delicious! When it comes to a sushi restaurant, how fresh the fish is determines how good the sushi/handroll is. The service was nice and friendly, I was seated promptly. They don’t serve all the rolls you order at once, they only make and serve the next roll once you finish your current one. No
