I had the pleasure of dining at Le Baratin and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a memorable evening. The menu was a treasure trove of French culinary delights, and I couldn't resist starting with their escargot persillade. These tender, garlic-infused snails were a true delight for my taste buds. As for the mains, the sautéed foie gras melted in my mouth, leaving a rich and decadent flavor that I won't soon forget. The baked brie, oozy and perfectly paired with a light puff pastry that encased it, was a heavenly combination of creamy and crunchy. However, the real star of the show was the boeuf bourguignon. The melt-in-your-mouth beef, braised to perfection in a rich red wine sauce, was a true masterpiece of French cuisine. To end the evening on a sweet note, I enjoyed a splendidly crafted crème brûlée, with its perfect caramelized sugar topping and silky smooth custard underneath. The service at Le Baratin was impeccable, with knowledgeable and friendly staff who were more than happy to guide me through the menu and offer suggestions. I left the restaurant feeling content, my taste buds dancing with joy, and a firm belief that Le Baratin is a true gem in the crowded NYC restaurant scene.

Fantastic French restaurant. I'm gluten free which means this place was a questionable choice... But they were very accommodating and served a duck dish with a very tasty gf sauce (and also brought the normal sauce - I tried a dab and it was terrific too!). Atmosphere and service were great. Love the combination of a neighborhood feel with exceptional food!

This French restaurant is amazing. I have to say the best Foie Gras. It is very crispy! Also I tried the Duck Breast very tasty and juicy. All of my order was fantastic and delicious. Love the atmosphere here. If I visit NYC again, here is the first restaurant I want to have a dinner 😘

Eat here! This place is a triple threat - food, vibes, and staff are top notch! The escargot is delicious as is the steak tartare. The wine choices and cocktails are divine. The late seating has music and dancing - this place is a blast! The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive. Can’t wait to come back!

What a place. We were going elsewhere for dinner and walked in and were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a table despite the place being fully crowded. We decided we would stay in for a light dinner and boy what a good decision that was. The beef Bourgogne, the burgundy wine, the tartar, everything was amazing!! So glad we found this gem 💎

I had a really amazing experience at Le Baratin! This was such a fun and lively place to enjoy a meal and have a drink at. Not only is it a fun place with good music and dancing, but the food and drinks are great. The place is a bit small and you will be close to people, but that is to be expected if you go anywhere with music and dancing. My favorite part was when they flicker the lights to the beat of the music and everyone starts dancing. I definitely recommend this place for an upbeat and fun type of night!

Outstanding food, fun atmosphere. Started with the escargot which became the dipping sauce for the rest of the 10 different bread types that followed 🤪. The Baked Brie was amazing, followed by the Steak Tartare entree and onion soup bites which were all delicious.

This is by far the best restaurant I have been too. Everyone was very nice they got us in without a reservation when they were clearly busy and made some of the best food I've eaten. I could not recommend the saffron salmon any higher!

Great food, the Safran Salmon was amazing. It was very busy when we went, and we still received attentive service. It was my date's birthday, and they went out of their way to make it special for her. Great desserts too.

The food was really good! I felt the vibe was authentic French but not a big elegant restaurant. More like a genuine French hole in the wall where expat’s probably go for a real French meal. I thought the food was great. It’s a bit small and can get noisy but I suppose that is part of the charm
