Soba Noodle Azuma - New York City - Photo album

A good option for cooked Japanese food in this area, especially for soba noodles! Cold or hot. They also serve udon noodles. Have visited a few times over the years, most recently for dinner on a cold night for some hot soba. Large variety of toppings - add on some appetizers too. A fan of the te
Absolutely outstanding restaurant! :) As if the food wasn’t already 10/10, the staff is 100/100 and so wonderfully kind and sweet! The food choices are so ridiculously plentiful and you can come here over fifty different times and get different combinations each time. The food was just satisfying an
I’ve had soba a few times in NYC and I liked @soba.azuma the best so far! The food and vibes are authentic, and it almost felt like I was in Japan. Very happy that they have kakiage (shrimp and veggie tempura) and there are still many options and seasonal menu that I’d love to go try in the future.
Great soba. Love how springy the noodles are. The set with all the little snacks is definitely the way to go. Love the variety that they give you. Warabi mochi was also really good and really balanced (not too sweet)! Will definitely be back.
Great for a cold NYC day, a lot of soba, oden and udon options. Not a fan of the sashimi but good experience overall.
Really like this hidden spot! It is just soooo chill and cheap compared to other places around. I have to say not every dish is outstanding but it’s a place that nothing goes wrong. Their soba and udon were really great. Not soggy and soft. Just order with sides you like. I personally like their e
We came here to try the soba noodles. I ordered the set #2 which came with a lot of food. It's the same price for small, regular or large for the Soba. I ordered cold noodles. The sides were good. Soba were cooked good. The dipping sauce for my needed a little more flavour so I added some spice to i
This place was delicious! Soba was extremely refreshing and you can get up to 300grams of soba for the same price as 100grams depending on your appetite of the day. We got the second set on the menu and it came with soba, dipping sauce ($2 extra), 6 pieces of sashimi, tempura, some veggies, and a ch
I love this noodle spot. I only had the cold udon here and it was delicious. Perfect texture, firm and chewy. I like their combo sets as well. Lots of variety. Prices are decent for what you get. Clean spot and lots of Japanese diners so it's legit. Going back to try soba next.
This place was amazing. The staff there was very personable and made the experience even better. The food was great!
