This was a new discovery this morning when we just wanted something simple and good and we got what we wanted and so much more. The outside is charming and rustic and the inside so cozy and inviting.
My friend wanted the French toast and they were out (which means it’s probably amazing and we’ll ha
Cute place! Sits slightly below the street which gives on such a cozy feeling. I had the squash and kale salad with added chicken. It was soooooooo good! I for sure recommend giving it a try.
Absolutely amazing breakfast and brunch! We totally fell I love with this place during our vacation in the city, ended up having our breakfast here three times. Absolutely loved their egg toast with avocado and the vegan and gluten free banana bread! 😍🍌🥑🍳☕️💞
Lovely little red brick brunch place. Lovely menu with range of options- I had a fruit salad and my partner the smoked salmon bagel. Good portion sizes, not excessively so. Service lovely and appropriately attentive. Nice cocktails too.
We tried many dishes, I liked most the starter with the gray cheese was unique! The Salmon was OK, the pasta and the ribs very delicious I recommend them!! They delayed a bit the food but in total we ate really well
Loved the atmosphere, the staff, the food. The ricotta gnocchi were perfect little pillows. The sauce clung to them adding fresh spring flavors. The roast chicken was moist and delicious.
Service was great and the food very rich in flavour. We ordered the vegetarian dish mix with quinoa and mushrooms. Portion was good enough for two people to share.
Oh boy did we smile.

I do not live in NYC but will be a repeat customer with a smile on my face!
Solid food. Had the roasted half cauliflower and the salmon. Both very satisfying. Salmon is dime a dozen entree and while I may not remember this piece for the rest of my life it was cooked perfectly. The cauliflower was also well cooked, a decent amount of bite and the right degree of browning. Bo
Great food! Great service! Not expensive! Cute! Fast! Love it! The only con was the seating spot. The table was a bit tight.
Enjoyed brunch here. Service is nice, food place is very cozy, casual, NYC style (wouldn’t call it European though). Good for small companies.
The Smile has been around forever and is a popular celebrity destination (Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are frequently photographed here!). The basement-level location is quaint and the dark, moody interior is cozy. The food is reliably good, try the Brisket if they have it. It can get a littl
Solid place for a good meal. Lively atmosphere and wonderful staff. Had a nice breakfast on the last day in New York.
Great intimate little spot. I like their breakfast/brunch more than dinner but it was still yummy!
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The servers were very accommodating. Four of us ordered three appetizers and two entrees and that was plenty. The mezzo plate had three kinds of hummus and plenty fresh veggies. Each dish seemed to come with a different kind of bread. The salmon was
