I ate here the other night with some coworkers in celebration of a strong year. We sat in the back patio and were served a tasting menu of the Chefs choice. I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The Corn and Chili soup was one of the single best bites of food I've experienced and the Gnocchi, roasted pork and Arctic Char were all equally impressive. Perhaps the best part was the interaction with the kitchen staff. The chef and his crew were incredible to us and had not an ounce of arrogance or annoyance as we walked back and forth through their kitchen on our way to and from the patio, even joining us for a drink at the conclusion of the meal. Truly a world-class dining experience. Looking forward to visiting again with my wife. Kudos!
Very good experience. The place is charming & cozy. Perhaps a little noisy for a dinner chat. Lighting is subdued, kind of low for reading the menu carts.
The attendants are ready & prompt to help with requests.
Very good wine selections specially the white/roses from France & Spain. The menu choices are varied & very well prepared. We had gnocchi w/ricotta & the Blackened fish with mussels & calamari, both excellent choices. We definitely would go back.
Tim and I had a nice dinner together like we used to in the old days. For us, this is a very comfortable setting. Low key. The food truly is marvelous. We went all out with a cocktail to start, bottle of wine, an appetizer, entree, a side, desert, and coffee. Then another cocktail. We felt so good. Just the right amount. Everything we had was delicious. Everything. We were kind of amazed at how good it was, delightfully so. I can’t wait to go back!
The bartenders here are on point...The mushroom appetizer was spectacular. What a great neighborhood place. Loved the ambience and the whole experience. I went alone and felt right at home--from the moment I walked in the door. I'll be back!

The food was amazing. The flavor of the fish the rice under, the sauce. Everything was good.
My husband and I are in town for our 5th Anniversary from Kansas City! We not only had a wonderful meal, but an exceptional waiter, Justin, who took great care of us. Even going as far as playing "our" song "This Must be the Place" - Talking Heads and serving us up celebratory drinks! This was, by far, our best experience and meal in the week we were here. Thank you Justin and Fedora! �

A cosy little basement bar and restaurant serving delicious and contemporary food and unique cocktails. This was the best dinner during my New York holiday.

Loved it. Small, atmospheric and delicious! A very simple setup and menu offering but executed perfectly. Food portions aren't enormous but they don't need to be - it's all about the flavour here. Would I go back? Absolutely!
Shiitake & oyster mushroom, krispie fried chicken, steak tartare were my favorites. Amy thought of it first had me feeling nice.
