The food here is just like what they serve in Italy! We really liked every pasta (carbonara, funghi, and even the pesto, which I normally wouldn’t order).
A nice Italian restaurant, surprisingly well priced for the area that it is in. The portions are slightly less than an average American portion. The wait staff are all so fun and friendly and will make up for any short service. They are also very generous with their time and don't kick out parties h
Food & service were excellent. The pizza was very good and the roasted chicken was perfectly tender with salty, crisp and flavorful crust. The lasagna is very heavy and meaty—not for the faint of heart. Check this place out if you want good Italian food and friendly service!
Place is great. We had the beet and ricotta salad, and the calamari. The food is everything you could want from an Italian restaurant. It’s also completely authentic as much or all of the staff is Italian. Sometimes the service might be a little slow or inconsistent by American standards but again t
Great staple spot for Italian, never disappointed. We had the pesto, porcini, and gnocchi pasta. The pesto and mushroom pastas are incredible, highly recommend those!
What a cozy spot for dinner ! They had plenty of seats indoors and also outdoor on their patio. For appetizers, we ordered the calamari and the arugula salad. I love how the calamari came in big pieces, had a really nice lemon zest to the flavor. For an entree we split the mushroom pizza, which had
Excellent Italian spot in the village. The food is amazing and the service is nice . The carbonara was to die for . The calamari was good. The individual pizza 🍕 were very good to . We had the black ink pasta which was ok but not fantastic. You will need a reservation here. But it was always packed
Excellent Italian Food. Really strange service. We ordered many dishes to share for our party of four and enjoyed each one. Outdoor seating is very nice and quiet while indoors is more lively. The grilled squid was a group favorite and the steak was delicious as well. Lasagna and gnocchi were also
Took us back to the simple days in Italy! In my opinion, the fresh spaghetti was the star of the show. Great ambiance. We ordered about 5-6 vegetarian friendly dishes. All of them were filled with so many flavors. Dessert was on point! Staff was friendly, indoor & outdoor seating available.
First off, walking here was a joy. The West village is really nice and very relaxed, of course. There's a lot of hustle and bustle. But much calmer than other areas. As me and my wife walk through there. We enjoyed looking at all. The brownstones and renovated buildings. Definitely inspired us to mo
Beautiful place. I really enjoyed the beets. Though I found the pizza an pasta to be good, not great.
Must order the calamari! We made a booking but there were plenty of empty tables. Service was friendly and carbonara was also very good.
The perfect cozy Italian restaurant in West Village. My boyfriend and I agreed these are authentic Italian dishes. The theme we tasted across everything is how subtle yet tasteful the plates were. I.e. Not heavily over compensating with salt or sugar like many restaurants do these days. Their spagh
We dined outside. Service is spectacular. Food options are solid. Staff is welcoming, helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable, and engaging.
Good experience. Fresh ingredients, simply prepared, accessible wine list (every wine available by the glass, carafe, or bottle - nothing fancy but decent table wine - I admit to being a snob). Flourless chocolate cake was incredible. Pastas were very good. Very good prices. Staff is hustling so the
One of the best Italian reasturants in NYC. Everything was fresh and tasty, the staff was very friendly and professional. Would definitely go there again very soon.
Very good food. Actual rating is 4.3 stars. Portnoy scale is an 8.6. Tiramisu is a 9.3.
