Don't be fooled by the name of this restaurant, it is actually a luxurious dining experience. The food is fantastic, looked great, tasted great and very filling. Top marks for the complimentary bread and their calamari is definitely a dish I would recommend. Couldn't fault it. Everything well presented. The music was lovely and at the perfect volume, the staff friendly and welcoming. If I had to really critic something, it would be that my partner's plate was collected before I had finished my food, but really with such an amazing food everything is forgiven.
We’ve passed this place all week while in NYC and decided to try it for my husband’s birthday dinner. Ahmed, our server, was wonderful and the food excellent. Definitely recommend it if you want a cozy atmosphere. The brick oven chicken and tiramisu were sublime.
We really enjoyed our dinner here. Mainly because the waiter was fantastic. The food was ok. We didn’t leave hungry, the product quality was very good but the prep wasn’t quite right. Also found dirty bathrooms with out soap. That never sends me good vibes. But our waiter was so good and kind, he really left us in an great mood.
Some of the best steak in the city. Stopped by with my husband and baby. We didn’t have reservations but they were able to seat us. The staff were friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. The drinks were just okay. The food was fantastic. No complaints.

Awesome business lunch at the height of the holiday season. Super warm decor, and the perfect setting for a December midweek lunch. Steak salad was perfectly prepared and the old fashioned was the excellent compliment.
Honestly the best ribeye and French onion soup have had here in the city. Absolutely mouth watering. Staff waiter and the stunning bartender were quick, funny and very attentive. 100% would recommend to anyone and everyone who loves a great steak and definitely going back!
The food is high quality and so is the service. There are plenty of steak restaurants in the city, but Bobby Van’s is always consistent with their quality and service. If you have a large party, I would recommend the seafood platter. The peppercorn crusted filet is just phenomenal.
Fantastic food in a quiet atmosphere. Good service. Prices are a bit higher than most places but then again, there are no peanut shells on the floor, no drunken and boisterous person hollering out watching a ballgame and the food was prepared by a chef and not a line cook that their last job was at McDonalds. Great presentation of the food brought to the table.
Came here for a drink and ended up seeing the steaks being delivered to other tables and my boyfriend and I both agreed we had to have one and we are so glad we did!! We've been to some of the best steakhouses around and Bobby Van's is now our favorite! The Sirloin was seasoned to perfection and melted in my mouth! The ambiance was lovely as well, I really enjoyed sitting at the bar and facing the window to enjoy the NYC scenery and people watching of course. The bartender Tez took great care of us and makes a fine bloody Mary. We had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Josh, as well and he made us feel extremely welcome and appreciated. I'm a fan for life and will definitely be back on our future NYC trips!
Hands down THE BEST restaurant I have ever stepped foot in, in my life! If you’re ever in New York near Times Square, go check out @bobbyvansnyc on 45TH street!!! The food, the atmosphere & above all the service received & welcoming atmosphere & experience was hands down the greatest to the point we had to request a picture with the whole team! We literally walked in an hour before they closed and was NOT disappointed at all at no point ! Thank you all for making this one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in life & in the big apple! From your Atlanta, Ga supporters & family! I wish I could post my video of the food as well because listen—the drinks, food & New York cheesecake was EVERYTHING!!!🥰🤌🏾✨
I stayed in New York for 4 days and this was hands down my favorite restaurant of the trip! The service was impeccable, the food was perfection, and the cheesecake was AMAZING. This place is worth every penny!
Loved the experience. We had the gnocchi, tuna tartare and the watermelon salad. Ahmed was our server. Great food and service. We will definitely come back.
First visit and it was a very positive experience. Outside seating is comfortable albeit a bit noisy, but service was very friendly. Strip steak was cooked nicely and sides were good as well. Would return.
