Just a great old NYC restaurant with amazing everything. Best seafood pasta ever. Same with the veal chop and the Napoleon dessert. Staff was super sweet. The piano player played September Song over and over again, it was kind of cute. High spirited, happy place. Definitely going back!

Traveled from Savannah GA. Andre Agassi recommended this place. Amazing Christmas atmosphere! Had a great waiter (forgot to ask his name, it wasn’t on the check) but the whole staff was on point. Swift and organized and made the experience first class. We will be back.
So tasty Our reviews had over 36 million views this year. Great Italian in Upper East Side. We love this place. Great original style. She had chicken parm and loved it (she is 100% Italian) and I had some pasta that was awesome. Great apps and desserts to die for. Check out all of our reviews. We were surprised to be offered to a reasonable time of 6pm on Saturday at Campagnola for a party of 5. My wife and I had celebrated an occasion there earlier in the year, and we were excited to return with her relatives from CA and Brazil. We then added another person to our reservation on the day-of, and we were still able to keep our reservation time. Amazing! This was in contrast to our previous experience which required patience to get a reservation- ah, the NYC Summers- allowing us locals to dine freely at places that will be undoubtedly bustling again in less than a month. The ladies drank wine- a few bottles of Pinot Grigio and Rose. A caprese was split for the table and brought out individually. I had the Pollo Campagnola with chicken, peppers, and sausage which was rustic and deep in flavor. (NOTE: there are pieces served on the bone- this was not mentioned) The staff were incredible, from the lovely maître d, the managers, the servers, and the back waiters and runners- all of them are clicking on all gears. The pianist playing with his backing karaoke track is the final piece that sends you to this “Am I in a movie right now?” kind of place. Love this place- an elevated yet humble Italian offering in the UES giving a true NY experience.

Fantastic place! My husband and I had dinner here while visiting NYC (wish I would have snapped some pictures of our food) everything was great! 10/10, overall!
Definitely our favorite Italian restaurant in the city. We go there for every big event in our lives such as anniversaries, birthdays and also to reward ourselves. They welcome you with cheese, bread and charcuterie. I recommend to take the pasta tasting, it already gives you a taste of how amazing they are. Sauces are out of this world and always fresh. We always take different food for main course but everything is good. I love the lamb rack or their steak. The dessert is also very good and fresh. For my husband birthday we had a huge platter of dessert and all our party enjoyed it! Ambiance is perfect and family like. Would totally recommend and we always go back so you should too! You will love it!
If you want top notch service, look no further. We came to New York for my birthday. We were referred to this location by a friend. So grateful they told us as we were impressed! When the server looks over and all you need to do is nod and magically another martini shows up. This is being attentive to your customers. They even carry my brand of gin. Don’t miss this old school place.

This place sure isn't budget friendly but the atmosphere is lively. There was a piano player on the night we were there and the service was also good.
We had the linguine with claims and the porterhouse. Both were excellent. Crowds were a bit older and classy
One thing I have to say though, this place got extremely packed on a random weekday night during dinner hours, the tables were also extremely cramped together to the point we were bumping into the tables next to us. Also to get to the bathroom, expect to elbow people crowding over the bar area. So if you are COVID conscious, this isn't your place.
Overall we had a lovely time here and would recommend this place.
2nd time at this establishment and have been completely blown away each time. We went for a birthday celebration most recently and each of the plates we had were prepared with an acute attention to detail. All of the food was seasoned and cooked properly for the cuisine being served and the staff was attentive and extreme helpful in making our choices for the night. Would not hesitate to go back for another amazing evening.
Campagnola was simply Extraordinary, We enjoyed our last dinner in NYC with dear friends. Last Sunday 12th, we returned to Atlanta on the 13th. The experience is as amazing! We celebrated our 1st year wedding anniversary & Babymoon 💖🎉 everybody treated us like family 🥳🤗 can’t wait to return with our baby! 🌸
