We have been eating at Jaiya for over a decade now, and the experience has always been amazing. Tom Yum Soup is an amazing starter, we have been getting it every time we dine there. Another delicious starter is the papaya salad. For our main meal, we ordered Red Curry, Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, and
I realized that I never posted my review. I came here about a year ago and back here again today. Sadly Jan 1st was their last day and glad I got to have it one last time. Pictures are from a year ago and from yesterday. Ordered the special sauce fish (red snapper), shrimp pad Thai, and seafood basi
Went there on dec 25 for dinner. We were greeted by a very nice and polite lady dressed in red for the Christmas theme, she showed us the table. They have plenty of vegetarian options. The food was really good, we specially liked the pad thai. The Panag curry was good but we were hoping to get a mix
My experience with Jaiya can be summarized as follows: don't get the mild, there's so many more flavors to be experienced if you're willing to explore with your palate. Get the fish, it's a must-have. Noodles of your preference as an accompaniment will work great too!
Great experience of authentic thai food. The eggplant dish was unexpectedly good. Different kinds of noodles to taste.
Amazing Thai food. One of the best in the NYC.
I have been here at least 6 times and never ever disappointed - that’s why a 5* rating.
You can’t go wrong with food here.
Drinks as well are amazing and staff is courteous with a quick service
Since the place is small in seating space - you will need
Very delicious Thai food… here is your last chance to visit it before they close it for good. They are closing this restaurant on 1st January 2023 forever after running it for almost 45 years now.
Nice date spot, I got the Basil Fried Rice and he got the Indian Curry. You cant really go wrong with Basil Fried Rice, it was tasty. He wasnt as enthused with his dish. For appetizers we ordered the chicken puff pastry which was pretty good with a sweet dipping sauce. I liked the decor, the service
The less I say the better. Pretty crowded place but the food is worth the wait. And the problem is whenever I went I ended up trying same thing again and again.
Do try their flaming Veggie Tom Yum Soup(if you do not like spicy food, I would recommend you to tell them before).
Try their Drunken noodl
We ordered drunken noodles, green curry and curry puff. Food was good. Staff was nice.
One of the best Thai restaurants in Manhattan!
We have been going to this restaurant for years and they have never been disappointed with their authentic and fresh dishes!
Our best meal in NYC (at least on this trip). Just be sure to ask for mild-medium spice (unless you're hardcore) ! Hard to beat NYC for Thai (and most other world cuisines). A bit pricier than we expected, but very authentic.
Paid $100 for a meal that most would kill for: fish with special sauce and shrimp with special sauce. Tom kha soup brought tears to my eyes. It was delicious. I only go here for special occasions. Plus, I had to pay $10 at the muni meter. Yikes. They brought this out in error. I sipped it fast an
Amazing food. Be careful if you like spicy (hot) food make sure you try on one item and then order the rest.
Both of the soups are delicious.
Don't forget the curry and rice.
