Malai Marke - New York City - Photo album

Hidden Gem of Authentic Indian Cuisine! I had the most delightful experience at Malai Marke restaurant. The food at Malai Marke is an absolute revelation. The aromatic chicken biryani, balti paneer (I asked them to make it spicy) and garlic naan was absolutely what I was looking for since so long
Delicious spot with wonderful food options and service. The wine was a bit corked but the food was excellent. The portions are very fair. They have a good amount of space for larger groups. They have a ton of options from chicken to lamb to seafood and of course vegetarian. You can’t go wrong.
Really enjoyed our dinner with some classics like Indian tea, samosa and sone briyanni.
Best Indian restaurant in the neighborhood, keeping the curry row tradition going at a high level. Lunch special is a great value. Chicken Chettinad is a favorite.
The bhindi sasuralwali (okra) was absolutely delicious and flavorful! On the menu, it is described as “okra you would eat at your in-law’s house,” which I learned from the server, means that it is prepared in a very special way, with extra love and care. What a lovely dish, restaurant and staff!
Great Indian food, Tandoori platter was delicious. Chilli Paneer was great. Good ambience and service. You get try Indian beers too!!!
Exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was so soothing, the service great, and the food was delicious. I could see the chefs hard at work and the result was outstanding food. Wow...Malai Marke is the best Indian restaurant in the East Village. The flavors are so exotic. Absolutely awesome dining e
Amazing food and a great lunch special! We ordered samosas, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Malai Marke Paneer and all of it was delicious. Will definitely be coming back

Sadly the Indian restaurants that once crowded 6th street are disappearing. Don't let an empty restaurant fool you into thinking the food isn't good. I had a wonderful meal here with some friends. The homemade breads, appetizers and meals were outstanding. Everything was fresh and delicious, so orde
