Udon West - New York City - Photo album

Very cute and cozy, amazing noodles and great topping options. I had the cold udon and it was so refreshing and simply delicious. The noodles are light and fluffy, not overly dense as some other udon places are. The hot udon is great for a cold day in NYC, it'll warm you up and keep you full. Would
Best udon I've had since I visited a small place up in Sendai a long time ago. The curry flavors were perfect, and the standard broth was really good. Great noodles as well.
Quick service, tasty udon and decently priced. I tried the Udon here and it’s pretty good! I had the salmon udon combo and it was worth it! I recommend trying this for late night or lunch! Oh it’s cash only so make sure you’re ready
Tucked away between two much larger buildings it is a bit hard to find and when the sign on the outer-door said no sushi and we headed inside ready for traditional Japanese noodles. After perusing the menu and signs on the walls, many of which I could not read, we began with Ikayaki. This grilled s
i had the cold udon with dipping sauce and fried shrimp tempura on the side. the udon had the perfect texture and the dipping sauce tasted pretty authentic. the tempura came out extremely hot and crispy. will be back to try more
Good food, decent prices, cheap sake (on weekends). I got the udon with beef and shrimp tempura ($11.50). Tempura is very standard. I'd never tried udon with beef before but it was a nice addition. The beef is very thinly sliced (like in sukiyaki) and deliciously fatty.
Solid noodle bar/Japanese restaurant. The udon noodle soups were flavorful and the portions, generous. The most delicious item, however, was the tuna tacos (we ate two before we could snap the below pic)
I had the pork katsu curry for lunch and it was great! Tasty curry, crispy pork, and some good rice. While the price was up there, I think $13.50 for this dish, it was a big dish and tasted great. I recommend this place!
This is absolutely the place for a budget meal, and the vibe was really good too. The fried chicken and fried tofu are both great choices for side plates. However, they do not let you in if you don't have a full party, which in my opinion is a great downside.
The taste is very good, I had chosen the fried pork curry rice, takoyaki and green tea tiramisu. Apart from the fact that the takoyaki were not homemade, the taste was good.
Absolutely loved the small restaurant and quick and attentive service. Went when it was bustling and had a bit of a lineup. Food was super tasty and I'll definitely be coming back to eat through the rest of the menu. Ordered the fatty tuna and udon combo which was super tasty.
Very authentic! Udon is a different kind of Asian experience for me. My sister had the tempura shrimp and beef udon and I had the fried chicken curry udon. I loved the chicken in my udon but the broth in my sisters was amazing!!! Very tiny little place, had slight wait at lunch time.
I come here to satisfy my gyudon craving. If you have ever been to Japan you'll see this chain restaurant called Yoshinoya. It's a blue collar restaurant that serves a beef and onion bowl on top of rice. It's comfort food and I'd a staple in most households. I have tried many places in US and this i
Great food and drinks. I expected the loud izakayi experience and party atmosphere. It wasn't there. The curry flavour was on point and the frosted Saki was great.
