Satisfied my craving during vacation here. I searched for Korean food. Their services are great too, fast turnaround from clearing table to serve the dishes. Their Kimchi is great!

It's my family's favorite place to have Bi bum bap... It's phenomenally delicious. We also enjoy mando gui and japchae. The little appetizers they serve before your meal are always fresh and delicious and they are ok in giving you more of your favorites 😉. You should really come here as often as you can

Straightforward, delicious Korean food. Both times I went here, the bibimbap had a great crunchy charred texture. The banchan are solid. Let’s be honest: if you’re looking at reviews of this place, you’re probably struggling to find a seat at one of its massively hyped neighbors and you’re considering Han Bat as a backup option. It’s good. I actually like it a bit more than its neighbors. It’s a perfectly fine Plan B.

I don't eat korean food often so I'm not an expert by any means but this was very yummy! wait staff were nice & the side dishes were good too. I enjoyed the vibes of the restaurant itself :) I got the cold noodles and my friend got the stir fried pork... rice (?) both were yummy but I wouldn't order the cold noodles without a savory dish to cut through the sweetness.

It was slightly pricer than other Korean restaurants in NY. Service was friendly, and the side dishes are high quality and refilled on demand. The soups we ordered were very tasty and very helpful for curing hangovers.

Amazing dinner! Pork belly appetizer was delicious! Seafood pancake was amazing and so the galbi. Service was great! We were supposed to go next door but found this place by accident. Highly recommend!

Decent Korean restaurant in the Korean town area. Good ban chan, prompt service. We like the seafood pancake and beef soup. Nice settings and decor.

This restaurant has been around for decades! I remember my first visit was in 2011, when a colleague introduced this restaurant to me. Back to present day, now this is one of my go-to restaurants for lunch whenever I plan to meet up with a fried for a quick catch-up. I highly recommend visiting on a Friday to avoid any rush hour crowd. Whether it’s for lunch or dinner bc many companies are still offering a hybrid work from home Friday schedule. Which means staffs are friendlier and food quality is always at its best when there is a smaller crowd. Their lunch special prices are unbeatable considering this joint is located in midtown Manhattan, New York. Bc a typical lunch meal is generally more expensive than any other NY boroughs. The lunch special menu offers many opts, so you will definitely find something suitable one way or another and leave satisfied since they serve a good portion too. Let’s not forget all the complimentary side dishes they provide before your meal even arrives. I like to pair the kimchis with my entree, but while I wait for my entree to arrive, I snack on the other side dishes. This is another must try restaurant in my opinion if you are new in the area, or if you are a local and craving authentic Korean food.

Han Bat was the perfect lunch spot after going to the Empire State Building. The tofu soup warms you up after a day of walking in the cold and the spice level was juuust right. Their menu is quite extensive, so take your time to read through all the options. Remember to cool the food before eating because it comes BOILING HOT 😤😋🥵

Very good experience. Their hot stone bowls were absolutely sizzling so the bibimpap was excellent. The kimchi is great. It feels like this is a solid choice out of the area. I don't understand why meat in Korean town is so expensive though. We are in America and not in Korea so the premium for it doesn't make sense.

Small Korean eatery with a very interesting layout to maximize space that makes it either feel comfy or cramped, depending on the person. The menu is a decent size with plenty of fingers in multiple areas of Korean food. The prices are on par with that of the nearby K Town. I came with friends at night and it was luckily not crowded. It can get pretty busy towards the tail end of the week. The servers give each table banchan and a plastic bottle of water after ordering. The cups are also disposable. Unfortunately, they don't seem to refill the water bottle often enough, and, for a table of three, we finished it quickly. There came more parties after we entered, and I guess they only have about three servers, so getting their attention is crucial. The food itself was good. The cold noodle was of nice heat. I wish the noodle was chewier, though. The banchan were also good, especially the cucumber. My friends were also satisfied with their food. The bibimbap was probably the most substantial and seemed decent for its price.

Very good Korean food. The serves is a little rushed to get the order, but food came really quick. It will takes years of work to get the food done like this. The Do Ga Ni Tang had the ox-knee cooked exactly what it is needed: not too soft, but should not be chewy. Simply delicious.

Awesome lunch specials. We opted for the entree plus mini stew $20 per person. For the three of us, we split a generous portion of bulgogi, spicy pork and seafood pancake and all got our own mini stew. They are happy to adjust the spice level to your preference.
