The restaurant is cavernous and very noisy at lunchtime. If you're looking for quiet conversation, this is not the place. But the food.... I had a hard time deciding what to eat, everything sounded so good. I had Scialatielli -- shrimp, tomatoes and basil pesto served ove linguini. My dining companion ordered Penne Caprese -- tomatoes, garlic, mozarella and basil over penne. Both pasta dishes were cooked to perfection, the sauces flavorful without being too spicy. Lunch potions were just enough to make us happy, but without leftovers. Artisan bread and olive oil accompanied the dishes.
Would recommend for a casual dinner. Appetizer portions were really small but delicious. We got the margarita pizza & was really good too! Surprisingly, it wasn't too busy for a Friday evening but service was great! Would go back again!
As expected. Your typical business lunch place. Food generally good, if somewhat predictable. Prices were reasonable given the location. No one would go here simply for the food or experience. But for a convenient lunch, or drinks/nibbles after work before getting on the train, its just fine.
Delicious!!!!! I think this is the best pizza in NYC, I know that is a bold statement but its true. A place worth visiting.
Try it. Good food, ambiance, and nice staff.
If Naples 45 is indicative of some of the best pizza in the U.S., I'm mightily impressed. It was nothing like I'd ever had before.
Located adjacent to Grand Central Station, the food and service here (Connie) was fantastic. My 1st visit to NYC and this place has everything: amazing pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, chicken parmigiana, olive oil with fresh herbs & fresh baked bread and more! Also, an assortment of beer, wine and cocktails. It's a great place for couples, families, groups and happy hour. The perfect amount food per portion, great flavor and served hot. Mmm!
The best pizza and pizza deal near Grand Central Station bar none. The quality and taste is amazing! And if you get there before 4pm you can choose from a variety of pizza for only $2 bucks a slice. Add an extra $1 and get a can of soda or bottle of water. Absolutely one of the best lesser known spots by 42nd street.
I've lived in the city almost 15 years and this place may actually have the best pizza I've ever had. Consistently. I've been here 3 times recently; service, beer, and pizza are always amazing!
Happy hour has free pizza in the bar until about 7. Draft beer is always cold and fresh.
If you're ordering a pizza for the table, add Prosciutto de Parma to it. You will NOT be disappointed. Its really delicious. Also I hate to admit it, but the pizza with the artichoke hearts was beyond delicious and way better than I expected.
The place is super convenient to Grand Central, you don't even need to go outside- just an escalator away.
If it's important to you, the waitresses are pretty cute too 🤫
Solid menu, good beer selection and surprising great pizza. Service was spot on and the shared Slasiccia pizza was amazing. The only downside was the noise. We sat on the patio and there was a demolition crew literally right across the street. We had to yell at each other the entire meal.
Amazing meal. Everyone was so friendly and fed our school group. They were so awesome. Loved the lasagna, chicken cutlet and margarita pizza. Chocolate cake also amazing
A little expensive (for what it is) and a little loud, but is reliably good and that counts for a lot. If you take a late lunch, around 2, you can grab an Italian Margarita and some antipasti, sit outside and imagine you aren't in Midtown.
Fast, friendly service, large space, lots of window seating, good food. A little pricey so try it during restaurant week next week..
Lovely Mediterranean food! Nice people and fast service. Best quality!
Pizza (Prosciutto) was ok, a little bit dry but still ok. Tiramisu was ok.
Good food. Large dining room. Very noisy. Easily accommodated our party of 17.
Well rounded Italian American food. Quite noisy, but the place is often bustling. Good service.
The pizza is always delicious! They also participate in restaurant week but I find the prices to be reasonable anyway considering the location & amount of food you're getting. The drinks are pretty tasty as well. I'd say this a great sit-down place in the Grand Central Station area, where good, inexpensive, sit-down places are few & far between.
Surprisingly good pizza! Very loud!
It had a very relaxed feeling, the waitstaff were friendly and willing to accommodate seat changes and answer questions about the menu items. The food was well seasoned and cooked well. It can get rather noisy due to the beer lounge in the back so be aware of that when being placed at your table.
The location for this restaurant is very convenient, as it is right across the street from the Grand Central terminal. The restaurant is very large and the menu has fairly classic. Yum Yum is nice and perfect for a business lunch or read the menu is a bit pricey, but expected of the area. The food is decent. I would say an average Italian restaurant.
Great Pizza! I love their pizza, order it everytime!
