This is a classic American restaurant. I liked it very much. It was cheap, burgers were huge and pretty good. They have a large menu with a lot of options for a reasonable price. The staff were really nice. If you’re looking for a healthy meal or a fancier place you might want to stop at somewhere else. But if your ok with some sandwich, burger, or else you’re going to enjoy this place. I had dinner but I believe it’s much better to have breakfast/brunch.
Exactly what you would expect a diner to be - the menu offers plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner. The wait staff was friendly and prompt to refill water and coffee - this place gives any patron the feeling of being a regular shortly after entering. I had the volcano avocado chicken sandwich and was pleased with the order.
Met my expectations for a diner, atmosphere was easy and simple. Walked in to sit at the bar and got service right away. Ordered French toast w/ham and eggs. The kitchen was simple and they had a vast menu...lots of options if you aren't sure what to get. I was looking for breakfast and got what I needed. Ended up taking home 2 slices of french toast and turned out great the next morning for round two.
The restroom was a bit odd as there was water on the floor...too much to just be from people's hands and the dryer was behind the toilet on the wall. Very inconvenient for someone who doesn't have much reach. Guess you could say authentic diner experience? lol
An old school dinner serving up amazing breakfast and a nice brunch deal. Whenever I’m craving some park cakes, this is my go to spot in the city. It’s near my place and I can always find a seat. Service can be a little busy on weekends but worth the wait. They have the best bacon and eggs and make a pretty good omelet too. The portions are massive.
Stopped in for breakfast and everything was so good! The whole grain pancakes with apple compot were delicious and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The breakfast sandwich with 7 grain bread was very filling and went really well with the potatoes and asparagus
Quick, clean, kind! I loved how welcoming the staff was . My ph was dead so I couldn't take photos . Fresh matzah ball soup was the most amazing soup. They make a variety of homemade soups it was perfect to warm me up.
Perfect diner experience, large portions, quick service, attentive staff. Hot coffee always on the way. Would recommend and love to come back again.
It was very nice to have typical american style restaurant for brunch. The portion was huge and price was cheap compared to how big the dishes were. The quality of the food is not perfectly high but good! We enjoyed the brunch.
Their paninis are SO good. I ordered the chipotle chicken panini and it changed my life. also the portions were HUGE so i have a ton of fries and half a sandwich to go home
About as much of a classic diner experience as you can get. Service was prompt and professional, food was tasty, portions are large, prices are fair (especially for the neighborhood). Best diner in the W4th St area
Good diner experience! The cheese burger was simple but very tasty meat.
Pancakes were alright, but unfortunately the syrup is served in small sealed plastic containers, and it’s corn syrup. Which was a bit disappointing.
Good location and very fast and friendly staff!
Servers are kind, sweet and great!! It made the experience even better. The food was good, no one pushing you to finish up your food and leave, yet kept a check on customers that they were enjoying their time. Nice to see a diner in this part of the area. Will go again!
It's a little pricey, but that can't be helped anywhere in Manhattan, I think. The service was very friendly, the waiter really cared about taking care of us. Portions were a bit smaller than most diners, but still very tasty, and the location is great, right in the center of the neighborhood.
Excellent diner at beautiful Washington Square. Staff is very friendly and they serve awesome food.
It’s clean and well kept up.
Traditional diner with all kinds of great choices.
Large seating area. Variety of options for non-vegetarian eaters. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which had a large portion size and good taste. Wouldn’t recommend this place for vegetarians. Service was good but it’s usually quite busy during evenings.
