This place is hard to miss, located right on 34th and 7th ave! Upon entering, you're hit with the aroma of a buttery and sweet scent. How could you ever pass up on buying some of this popcorn goodness.

I love the popcorn from here! There is no where else like it here in NYC. I like to go for the "garret mix", you get the best of both worlds between sweet and salty. Truly delicious.

This place is proof that even popcorn can be gourmet food. This is popcorn paradise, no less.
Caramel, cheese, plain and more sort of popcorn as well as almonds, cashews and pecans. All are just so so good. Many different bag sizes and combinations to choose from. Do NOT skip this place when around.
It's all good at this sweet shop. Servers will fill the bag with the yummy fresh popcorn.

There is nothing as good as freshly made popcorn, the only bad thing here is deciding the flavor.
I love this place. The variety of popcorn and customer service is phenomenal. My favorite caramel popcorn are the pecan and the almond. Each batch is filled with nuts galore. I would definitely recommend it.
Garrett's has elevated our expectation of popcorn! I often remix the Chicago-mix subbing the caramel with pecan or cashew carmel crisp. You'll have to resist liking the cheese off your fingers when you reach the bottom of the bag......or don't resist ;-). A Taste of Chicago in the Big Apple.
They have the most delicious popcorn!!! I tried it in Chicago first and then was a regular customer at nyc location. Visited there today only to learn they’ve closed permanently 😞😞😞😞 Called the customer service and they said they’re looking for a new location and not open in NYC for several months!!
My favorite snack place. It started me passing by one day, an employee gave samples outside the shop. It was over for me. The chicago mix with cashews are my favorite. I now go and grab a bag at least once a week after work.
If you like great carmel popcorn, Garrett's Popcorn Shop is the place to find it in NYC. Always the same great popcorn. Be sure to get plenty of napkins because you will need them to clean up after munching down a bag!!!
The crisp of the caramel popcorn is absolutely amazing, yet melts in your mouth. Definitely a go to place in NYC. The staff were very friendly and it adds to the experience.
They offer delicious popcorns that were part of Oprah's favorite things. Great as a gift though not inexpensive considering it's only popcorn.

We got a bag of the Chicago Mix as a gift, and we literally could not stop eating it! Just be warned, that the cheese will stain your fingers and anything you touch.
Lot of options to choose from like Cheese, Caramel etc. They also give assorted pop corn. Price is little on higher side but it tastes great.
