A wonderful warm atmosphere. The food and drinks were great. We even received a treat and arrived for the Friday open mic night. Great music. I will definitely be there again.
We were looking for a place we could have some yummy Mediterranean fare near our Airbnb in New York for date night. The food was delicious and the service was perfect! At dusk they light small candles and sit on the tables and in the window.
This is the best restaurant I have ever been in Manhattan. Best ambiance and the best food.
Love the atmosphere, the staff was awesome, and the food and wine was delicious. Everything from the bread, the appetizers, the split pea soup, the main course, to the dessert was out of this world. The chef came out and greeted us giving each of his client a special treatment. This is a place that truly cares of each customer and I will definitely recommend this place.
Really wonderful place with good quality food. My wife and I spent some great time there. The staff were welcoming and the service was impeccable. The flafel was well made and the chicken came well done but not dry. The ravioli was with a little to much sauce and wasn't as good but all the rest was really nice and nothing to complain. In terms of the prices: it's a good looking restaurant with beautiful setting, very clean and plesent atmosphere the prices are not low but for this city are also not that high. Two entree, two drinks, and one opening it was about a 100 dollars. Overall definitely worth a visit.
September 2020, outdoor dinning. VERY GOOD! Friendly waitress, baba ganoush, grilled octopus and lamb kabob. Yum!
Savann is one of Harlem's best kept secrets. The drinks are amazing - my favorite is the Harlem Renaissance and the red sangria and the food is even better. They have the best falafel, mushroom pizza, cheese rolls and so much other great food and everything is made on site and super fresh. (The bread basket with olives is a must have!!) The staff is always super friendly and goes the extra mile to ensure you have a great experience. They're extremely knowledgeable about the menu and drink suggestions if you're not sure where to begin. The baklava - aye!! So delicious. If you have a chance to meet him, the owner is truly a gem. You can tell how amazing he truly is by how good the food tastes and how amazing the staff is. Can't wait to visit NYC again to eat here!
Best octopus I’ve ever had !
The cold Platter was awesome and lentil soup was delicious .
And the main broncini was big and yummy . Would definitely come again!
Dinner place not too far from the train station. They said they serve Mediterranean food. I came here on a reserve night and chose from an appetizer, entree and dessert. When seated I was given house red wine that was of okay taste. The bread that came with hummus, cheese and a spicy spread I didn't use. The bread was delicious and the hummus and cheese spread as well. I chose the lentil soup for my appetizer which came with a lemon. It was delicious, hot, and smooth. Next came my steak which I believe it was a large party they made it all medium. However when I got the steak it was more of a medium well and hardly any pink. It didn't taste too good. The mash potatoes was too salty for me. My dessert was the baklava which it was my first time trying but I didn't like it. Other people liked it. I liked their chocolate lava ice cream cake more. Food is most likely not halal or kosher, if that is what you will like. The fish dish some people ordered looked really good.
Very good and not expensive. Only had a "misunderstood" with the unhappy owner... I was full of bags and asked the waitress for a chair. She pushed one of the near table. Minutes after the "owner" came and rudely told: if you won't have anybody seated here, I need this chair, and took everything out of the chair and putted all on top of my friend's purse and bags. At this moment I didn't understood who he was but moments after he seated there a french couple who told us that asked to seat near the window (which was our table!) and were sorry for his attitude once there were lots of free tables. Despite this, food is great and service of the waitress very polite. Could improve juices and/or lemonades for the ones who don't drink alcohol. The neighborhood also enjoys this restaurant which give it a special American touch!
In the heart of Harlem, there is a Mediterranean Madness happening. It's at Savann. Amazing foods, great drinks, and a perfect atmosphere. I had the special, pumpkin ravioli. It was delicious. I will definitely return to this spot for the locals. P.S. the bartender is absolutely beautiful.
