Last night we had the most amazing dinner at The Ellington! We were a large group and everyone raved at the end of the night about how perfect everything was…we all can't wait to go back! To start, we ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table. One was better than the next...calamari is always a fan favorite. The drinks of course did not disappoint and were kept full by the most attentive and friendly wait staff. The salmon I ate was perfectly cooked and delicious as well as my husbands fish tacos. What I would have never known is that the building in which the restaurant resides is so rich in history! The owner made sure to come to our table to enchant us with the stories of what once was. It was so wonderful to go out to eat and not only enjoy the company with great friends but we also were so grateful for the warm and welcoming experience. Looking forward to checking out brunch!

I came here for New Years and was stunned by the restaurant decor and the atmosphere. For the new year, there was a live jazz band that was phenomenal. Our table reservations were right before the kitchen closed, but the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful for getting our order in. I ordered a beyond burger with sweet potato fries and an amaretto sour. As a table, we shared a bottle of prosecco and the staff brought out champagne for a champagne toast. I was throughly impressed with the speed and quality of service given our large party size.

Me and my girlfriend went to this restaurant to try something new. We came in around 5:30 or so so we had time for the Happy hour, we weren't aware of but Taylyn informed us of it. We had a bottle of Pinot Noir, Burrata, Prosciutto Flatbread, the Potato gnocchi and a 10oz special steak that was available. We enjoyed the decor and music Taylyn was our server and she was knowledgeable, excellent, and friendly. Thank you for the amazing dining experience. We'll gladly come again.

Very good food. I don’t think I’d put 5 stars on the food but the overall experience including service and ambiance is what makes it 5 stars. Nice for a bite and a drink but not the very top of my list. I enjoyed it but wouldn’t return.

i enjoyed my experience dining here at the ellington. i ordered the burrata, mussels, and truffle fries, and they were all exceptional. it took some time to locate the waitress and place our orders, but this is only because we went on a saturday night when it was busy. once we ordered our food, it arrived promptly.

Delicious! We ordered the Tuna Avocado Tartar (ask for more chips - FYI), the Steak Flatbread, and Quinoa Salad. Portions were great and staff was very friendly!

Overall it’s a good restaurant. The menu isn’t anything super interesting or unique, but it’s a good comfortable spot. I was surprised at how well done the simple things on the menu were, like the Caesar salad. The service was also good and the host was wonderful. It’s a fine spot for your standard food items but not somewhere to go for a “special” food experience. I would recommend coming for a safe comfortable meal.

The Ellington is far and away me and my partners’ favorite neighborhood spot. Last night we celebrated 13 years of being in each others’ lives, Curtis and the waiting staff ensured it was magical. We were warmly greeted at the door and given a cozy table in an alcove. Completely unbeknownst to us, Curtis had organized champagne to start off the meal. Following this we had a burrata for our appetizer and skirt steak frites as well as braised short rib for our mains. Everything was delicious. We finished the night with the molten lava chocolate cake accompanied with a sparkler provided by Curtis to celebrate the occasion. Thank you again to everyone at the Ellington for last night, we can’t wait for music filled Sunday nights this winter and brunches outside this spring.
