Stumbled upon this great lunch place with simple and delicious good. The service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.
Good simple food. This small, friendly spot very near Lincoln Center serves great sandwiches. My tuna melt was an open-faced sandwich loaded with a generous helping of tuna salad and topped with a slice of melted processed cheese. I had the soup and salad lunch combo for less than $10: a cup of soup, a salad, pickle spear, small helping of cole slaw and a dollop of shredded carrots plus a soda. Service was fast and attentive. Might be good alternative when you're in a hurry before a Lincoln Center performance.
Great find. Looking for late morning breakfast and stopped hear as it looked like locals were enjoying it. Fantastic French toast for my wife. I just got eggs and turkey bacon with potatoes. Hard to mess up eggs, but the bacon and potatoes were very good. Unique flavor to all the food. Ill go back on my next trip.
Good and Solid. A traditional NY luncheonette hidden on the Upper West Side. Good service, good, stick-to-your ribs restaurant. Unpretentious. Reasonably priced.
