We had the beef fried dumplings, steamed chicken dumplings and seafood fried rice. Every dish was just as delisious as the other. The dumplings are amungst the best I've had and the rice dish was amazingly tasty! I highly recommend this place. A massive thumbs up from me.

Chosen in a hot rush, but had dinner there three times since. Not much Chinese food in my hood, greatly appreciated. Cabbage and bacon an unexpected dish but delicious, the squares of bacon retaining crunch, veg cooked separately (?). Soup dumplings yum, 3 cup chicken and seafood soup. Tall and rugged barkeep reminds me of a 60's TV mountain man, tall and rugged, sans bearskin coat. Nice guy. Sweet service but uneven. Ear pain level noise if full.

Tasted like my childhood, but better. Ordered nearly everything on the menu and everything was excellent. The pork belly was decadent. Every kind of dumpling is exquisitely prepared and steamed perfectly. The sides showcase the best parts of each vegetable. I could eat the three cup chicken every day for the rest of my life and die happy. I'm making Pinch Chinese a staple for every NYC visit from here on out.

My son Erik and I sponstaneusly went into Soho yesterday in search of an adventure. It was an amazing day and as we wandered along the streets we saw a small restaurant called PINCH and we decided to stop in. It was crowded but they found a table for two right near the window where there were four people making dumplings. The food was so amazing that I was almost afraid to tell anyone about it in fear that I will never again be able to get a reservation once the secret was out. The soup dumplings were the best I have ever tasted but honestly everything we ordered was perfect, We ordered spare ribs which usually I stay from away and I can honestly say they melted in my mouth and I would go back just to order them. The steak fried rice and noodles were outstanding. I sat next a couple who lived in Shanghai for 5 years and they said they have been in serach of a place that had authentic chinese food and said this is the only place that they have been able to find in all of Manhattan that was comprable. I was facinated by them and their stories of China. Pinch is defintley not like any other Chinese restaurant I have ever tried. The service was as good as the food. What more can I say other than call this restaurant and make a reservation and go enjoy Soho and this wonderful restaurant.

We ordered the seafood fried rice, spicy 🌶 wontons and assorted dumplings! All dishes were amazingly delicious 😋 clean fresh flavors not salty or greasy in anyway! And the Latino chino ginger tequila cocktail was the bomb!!!

So good! True, traditional Chinese flavors, but with a bright and playful tone. The soup dumplings were absolutely perfect. The amount of broth, the proportion of skin to meat...pork remains my favorite, but you have to try the chicken. It is surprisingly succulent and delicious. Mushroom dumplings were beautiful to look at, and were a little bomb of umami. Three cup chicken was gorgeous and reminded me of my childhood, but was way better than mom ever made. Service was outstanding and fun. Love this place, thank you!

I've never had soup dumplings before - they were so good! My wife & I tried pork & chicken, which were both good, but liked the chicken ones slightly more. The ribs were delicious as well!

Great soup dumplings and Chinese cuisine! I would recommend their soup dumpling (小籠包) the most. Pretty authentic as a Taiwanese perspective! The wine pairing are also pretty good, not too expensive but with a great value. Definitely make a reservation and a recommended Chinese restaurant!

Despite you don’t see many Chinese people in there, there Chinese food is quite authentic and I’m very surprised. Already went back once will again go back for the Peking duck Everything in the photo are good, except for the Peking duck Benedict egg. The mix is weird to me. The soup dumplings is the best so far among all the soup dumplings I’ve had in NYC.

Absolutely delicious. I would describe it as traditional Chinese foods with a modern/healthier twist. Definitely more of a splurge than more traditional Chinese restaurants, however definitely worth the visit. The mapu tofu was absolutely delicious, one of the best tofus I’ve ever had and I don’t usually even like tofu!! Definitely worth the visit.

Stick with the soup dumplings and you’ll be forever happy. Order at least 4 trays of them because it should be considered illegal to only eat 3-4 per person. If your bar is Din Tai Fung, the soup dumplings will be the only thing to meet expectations.

In simple words, replica of Ding Tai Fung with a vital vibe on decor and music. Mild on sodium so you can still taste the ingredients themselves. This is good because NYC is full of Chinese restaurants those went infinity and beyond on how much spice and seasoning added into their dishes. Should come back to try some more.

Recommend by a friend for its Peking Duck, however, did not know that needs in advance request. But generally, dishes were delicious and Dan Dan Noodle stood out. Love the interior!
