Home of the famous Cake Boss, this is a must visit bakery! Everything is very commercialized, but the food is still top notch and doesn't disappoint. No matter what your in the mood for, they have something for everyone! The glass display hosts an impressive variety of beautifully decorated pastries, cakes, and cookies! At the very least trying one of their famous cannolis is a definite winner. Being so widely known, expect a line, but the staff is efficient and keeps things moving.
If you like the show you should taste the food! I loved the safety procedures they follow. The lobster tail was amazing, the staff was very helpful. We went back for seconds. If you are in the mood for sweet treats this bakery has you covered.
It’s been a while since I set foot in this Carlo’s Bakery... over a year since the pandemic.
I’ve finally stopped by the bakery again yesterday, 7:30pm Friday night after work.
NO line... there were only two people ahead of me who were already ordering. So that was perfect because it gave me time to decided on what to order.
Lots of options and I wish they offered a sampler box. I walked out with 1 Lobster tail, 1 Sfogliatelle, 1 Black and White cookie, and 1 box of rainbow 🌈 cookies . FREE apron gift with $35 purchase.
I love their lobster tails... one of the best... so crispy! I recall their menu having 5-8 different flavors pre-covid, not it’s cut down to the one classic favor.
The cakes, and mini cheesecakes are beautiful!!! Will definitely try out next time !
I knocked off a star because they are $$$$ pricey... mostly because they can due to the high rent since they are located in a prime touristy spot, Times Square NYC. Also, the rainbow cookies are very dry, pretty but not fresh. Definitely recommend pairing this with milk or coffee.
All their cookies are prepackaged. Everything looks delicious. Will return again for another treat next time.
The food was tasty. The service was helpful and kind. It has a good atmosphere.
Carlos has to be one of the best bakeries in nyc hands down.the first time I heard of Carlos was from my wife years ago.she would watch the tv show, the cake boss.
Then one day we went to Carlos bakery when we were in Manhattan .The line was long ,that shows you how many people wanted to try some of the good pastries they had.I had piece of double fudge cake and some chocolate cookies ,my wife had a piece of there cheese cake.
The experience was good and we would definitely go back there in the future, now with our little son.
Came here purely inspired by TLC Cake Boss, and I did not regret! Amazing staff and the cakes were out of this world! Definitely coming back here, keep it up guys! 👍
i've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. the place has a nice atmosphere. menu is like a place in san francisco i loved.
