Just finished a wonderful meal with my son for his 13th birthday. Everything we had was fantastic from the homemade empanadas To The chorizo steak and mixed grill platter. The staff was attentive and engaging and kindly put a candle in my son's dessert and sang Happy Birthday.
We will definitely be back!
The food is delicious. The atmosphere, and friendly staff makes this place in Brooklyn one of the best Argentinian restaurants in the area.

Parrillada (mix meat-cuts) really good as well as appetizers (el mate salad) (chorizo empanadas) (Grilled polenta with white mushroom cream sauce and fresh peppercorn on top) were my picks...the Mate cocktail and original Mate drink are really good as well!
The interior is very cozy. Staff was super friendly and service on point. We had calamari and empanadas (beef) to start, then 12oz skirt steak for the main event and it all was amazing! Their chimichurri sauce is the best one yet! The only disappointment was the side order of fries, too wide and soggy.
Everything I had here was outstanding! This is a must visit again for me, especially when I’m drawn back to Other Half Brewery around the corner!
Just went yesterday for my mothers birthday & it was amazing from the food to the staff! Can't wait to go back & try another dish �
Loved the food, drinks, ambiance and waiter. Delicious Skirt Steak, Yuca Mash Tilapia and Argentine wine and Brazilian beer
The chicken Milanesa a la Napilitana was awesome. I had it with mashed sweet potatoes. Chorizo empanadas were spot on. Friendly staff & cozy atmosphere.

Just left the restaurant like an hour ago and I want to go back already great food great service do I recommend? Without a doubt !
Had dinner at El Mate today for the first time and it was great!!! The bartender was very nice and makes a mean Sangria!! The waitress gave us excellent service and a lot of attention. The food was delicious, especially the empanadas and gnoochi, which I couldn't get enough of... Full belly, happy heart. Thank you
Great place. The food is awesome. The outside part is beautiful. If your looking for a spot for a romantic date, this is the spot.
