This has been my local joint for 5+ years. Fantastic staff, unpretentious atmosphere and great burgers.
Crazy good food and awesome place to hang out!!! Try the royale with cheese, a special burger blended to perfection.
Love the patio and the delicious variety of mixed cocktails from the barstool and you can never go wrong with their Royale With Cheese burgers and their housemate bbq potato chips!
From the management to the hostess friendly and very welcoming. I felt like I was part of the family. The atomsphere was excellent. Overall, I had a wonderful time

I was around Alphabet City and had a bit too much too drink, but my friends and I were starving and a nice, juicy burger seemed just the ticket. This joint is more of a bar/burger place than anything, but don't let that fool you. I opted for a good old bacon cheeseburger and was shocked at how good it was. Meat was perfectly cooked, not greasy and they did a great job loading up the burger with plenty of veggies and fries. I shared some chicken wings which were also delicious and not overly greasy, but man, they were burning hot coming out of the fryer so proceed carefully! Can't recommend this place enough and looking forward to trying it again when I come back into town!

We hit up a bunch of places, starting with Royale. This was a bar in the East Village that was really simple and good. It reminded me of Charlie Beinlich's without all of the blue hair brigade. They have this great, secluded back patio too. The burgers were cooked properly and very juicy.
