This place is fantastic. I always get the Flauta Plate and Bistec tacos. The beef in the bistec melts in your mouth and is wonderfully spicy. Their horchatas are delicious, help cut the spice! Free bowl of perfectly salted chips and a small bowl of salsa when you sit, helps tide over the hunger pangs while waiting for the food to come. Sometimes when I get takeout they give me the chips and salsa to go as well. All in all an awesome Mexican restaurant!

Best tacos in the city! Cabeza and picadillo are my go to. Classic movies on the tv, cheap beer, and a great staff.
The only genuine Cal-Mex food on the East Coast from a native Cal-Mex here. Food is authentic, the owner herself from LA, drinks superb, and the prices are perfect.
And the ambience is set in the LA of the 70s. Couldn't be any better.
Great/ authentic mex food/ margaritas, excellent service & atmosphere - sports (LA DODGERS, Lakers & Cowboys!!) and Rock & Roll memorabilia abound. Front bar w/ outdoor patio and tables upstairs & down. Stop by & enjoy!!
