My friends and I had dinner reservations at Mompou for the very first time, and we were extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Our group of 9 were seated at the back of the restaurants in a outdoor covered area that was beautifully decorated. As soon as we were seated service was very prompt to get our drink orders in without being pushy, and upon looking at the great selection of tapas on the menu we decided to order a bit of everything. Every single item on the menu was amazing along with the drinks. Our group spent a total of about 3.5 hours and the restaurant since we had such a great time. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone I will definitely be back again!

The atmosphere was absolutely relaxing. Their was a lot to look at. The table displays were so pretty, as was the food. The music was nice, the waiter made me laugh. I do not at all remember the pricing however.

Came in to check it Tapas. Service was fine but the food was delicious. Enjoyed the empty space since they just had opened. Even thou were small meals, were enough for 2 people.

Fun place, great food, the techno beat music gets annoying after a while. The paella is the only paella in town I can finish in one sitting, no left overs and it’s $35. The surrounding restaurants give you twice the portion. Large and small sangria options also pricey. Friendly and attentive staff. A good vibe for drinks with friends and tapas. A romantic dinner not so much.

Authentic Portuguese and Spanish food, with amazing caipirinhas to boot. I didn't order food - it was just drinks - but the plates we saw coming by were mouth-watering, and I'm sure they make killer tapas and picanhas. Their ambience is relaxed, blending traditional taverna-style architecture with a modern twist, and the staff is quite friendly and they take good care of you. Perfect place to watch a sports match, meet up with friends after work, or grab a hearty meal.

If you're in Newark and looking for a banger of a restaurant, than this is the place! Absolutely a phenomenal choice! Potatas Bravas were pehenomal, as was the chorizo in red wine reduction. This is as close to a true Spanish tapas bar as you'll find in the USA. Hipefuy you'll have Fabio as your bartender. He's aaster behind the bar, as well as the most knowledgeable member of their staff for tapas ordering.

This was my first time at this spot in Iron bound. The theme is odd, but Generally Spanish culture. It was a dark urban chic restaurant. It's not very big. They have a tapas menu with some great options. If you drink socially, this place has that friendly vibe for that. The dessert and tapas presentation were awesome. I would recommend. Finding parking can be challenging.
