One of the best empanadas I've every had. Full of chicken and beef. Would recommend.

Warm, freshly-baked to order, mouth-watering empanadas - as only native Argentinians could produce! The variety is outstanding. Try the "Criolla," ground beef with green olives and raisins; absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go back! The staff is great, and the shop is beautifully appointed: very clean with state of the art ovens and appliances. You'll love Cordobesas!

Only real Argentine empanadas in Newark, and thankfully they're homemade and the owner knows what she's doing....not disrespecting the popular Iberian empanadilla found all over the city. Don't leave without trying her alfajores for dessert. Just do it!

The ham, egg & cheese empanada and coffee were fantastic! I was also so impressed by the two women that worked there. Such sweet people! It was a great experience.

The best empanada we have had. The crust is unbelievably thin and yet it supports the huge amount of filling that is so good. We had lunch and breakfast the following morning so we could taste all the flavors. We returned the following week to purchase a dozen to take home with us to the westcoast (TSA inspector’s mouth was watering). It travelled well and reheats beautifully. Kudos to Savana, she was excellent in explaining everything to us. A little gem in Newark.

Best BAKED empanadas that are FULL to the edges. The owner is a nutritionist who goes out of her way to pack the best ingredients. These delicacies are slowly made one at a time, not buy some machine but by people who take time to do it right. I have never seen nor tasted store empanadas so good anywhere in the world. And you get what you pay for: GREAT EMPANADAS CORDOBESAS!

This is a delicious empanadas place. They have many varieties and each is stamped with initials for the flavor ("SC" for "Spicy Campesinas"). My favorite are the humita, the tango, and the spicy campesina. The service is quick and friendly, and they even have espresso! One of Newark's lunchtime gems!
