I USE TO GO HERE WITH MY MOTHER WHEN I WAS YOUNG NOW IM 52 & THIS IS THE DIRTIEST RESTAURANT EVER FROM THE WINDOWS TO THE FLOOR. THEY DON'T CHANGE THEY GREASE OFTEN AS A RESTAURANT SHOULD & THE FOOD COST MORE & THEY EVEN CUT CRAB STICKS IN HALF.PLEASE STAY OUTTA THERE UNLESS YOU WANNA GET SICK

Zero stars. I've never been able to get service in here. Today I tried again for the first time in years and nope. I wanted to buy a porgy, I wanted it cleaned. All the staff in the back were busy. Everyone looked at me and looked back down at their work. So I asked if i buy the fish in the front of the store or there. The tall man on end responded by asking did I need the fish cleaned. I said yes please. And he said: "we can't clean one fish." Thats a crock. But I needed the fish for my grans dinner so I said thats fine I'll take it whole, do I pay here or up front? He ignored me. I asked do you really just not want my money? Everyone on the line kinda chuckled and shook their heads but one one could serve me. I'm really quite offended. I hope they never sell another fish and go out of business quickly. Let someone who wants to serve the community take that spot.

I use to eat here as a kid growing up and I still love their food to this day. I love their seafood combo which is fried fish, shrimp, scallop, mini crab sticks with French fries. This is where my love for seafood came from and thanks to my Mom back in the day use to take me here for lunch sometimes when we go to downtown

I have to say this is like my second fried fish spot. If I stop here I have to buy something for everyone. The prices are reasonable. They haven't even jacked up the price due to covid and I am very appreciative of that. You can see everything they're doing so if you are wary of how people handle your food, this is right up your alley. It's not a spot for ambiance. Pre-covid you could sit inside. But even pre-covid, if you are trying to impress someone for a date this is not the place. It smells like fish and it's just not a little bit fancy. But the fish is very good, fried well, has flavor w.o being overly salty, and their is not skunky taste at the end like some of these fish spots. Now of your looking for real scallop n crab legs this isn't the place for you. Indeed it is imitation. But if you love it and are allergic or just want something that reminds you of those flavors then look no further.

I love this fish market. There are only a few places that do whiting sandwiches right, and this place got it. They're efficient. I've never bought fish from the market, but I will always come back for some fried fish and shrimp. Consistent lil hood market. It's not a pretty place but every time I've bought fish from there it has been the freshest! It's 15 minutes from my house but I will take the trip for the fresh fish! I love the food but the door says they open at 8 am and the 2 young woman always has a attitude it's now 10:13 a.m. and one of them said the oil takes 30 mins to heat and when the older lady isn't around they are very rude

Not the best looking place but the food is delicious and they have great prices. It’s also a fish market in the back of the restaurant. Definitely one of my favorite places to get seafood. I love the $7 dollar platter!
