My friend and i were craving for good hummus and chicken kebabs. We searched on google and this place came up. We ended up going there with a lot of expectations because of the reviews that were posted on google. AND the place did NOT disappoint. We ordered hummus which was served within 5 minutes. It came with 3 huge pita breads. They were good, could have been evern better if they were served warm. Hummus was scrumptious. Next came the chicken kebabs in ~ 15 minutes. The chicken was really tender and juicy. One of the best Mediterranean food i have had!!!

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed ourselves. The vibe is just right. Music, hookah and bomb food. I had the salmon and it was delicious!! Highly recommended. Fries and hummus were also great! My boyfriend had chicken kabobs and he really enjoyed it. He stayed in the Middle East for some time, so I know the food is good if he thinks so! Oh..the staff is amazing!! We will definitely be back. 10/10

12 Jul 2022: solo dinner. Ordered Mujadra($16). Vegetarian and healthy. Good taste with the supporting pickled veggies and tahini. Has middle eastern artsy vibes. Staff was courteous and pleasant. A star deducted because the bread was sub par, I’ve had amazing in similar places.

Loved the food, Moroccan chicken was tender and spicy - delicious! The lamb kabobs were perfectly cooked - just medium and tender. Samosas - yum! The service was prompt and attentive. The lighting was hard to get a good photo, just a bit unfiltered, but the seating was very comfortable cushioned sofas and pillows and the lighting fixtures were neat beaded chandeliers. Our meal was very tasty and the ambiance was uniquely enjoyable.

Everything was great. I had just returned from a trip to Morocco and they are representing the cuisine quite accurately. Was surprised how similar it was to some of the food I ate there on the streets. Some stuff on the menu is more general to the Middle East too and not specific to one country. Get some hummus and mint tea if you just want a snack. They eat Tagine literally all the time there so I would get that as a meal if you aren't familiar with the cuisine.

Best food in Newark, hands down. I've been coming here for years, and the quality is consistently good. Vegans and vegetarians can eat very well here. Try the Moroccan Eggplant Salad.
