We started with the meatloaf bacon wrapped lollipops and lasagna dip. The lollipops dish was amazing melt in your mouth. Not apps were fantastic. We also had the short rib cheesesteak and Cali black bean veggie burger. All I can say is yum! It was a great find and we can’t wait to return for another visit!! Highly recommend

The menu is varied and incredible. If you can’t find something of interest, you can grab the old standbys, which are also available, but with a little twist to change it up a bit. Modest beer offerings on tap but with a nice range of styles. Awesome mixed drink choices and all wrapped in a wholesome family environment. Will definitely return...A+++

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Robbie is not just a chef but an artist. Overall good guy. Cares a lot about what he plates just as much as the customers he serves. Highly recommend.

Wow! I was super impressed. Fried Chicken Deviled Eggs were phenomenal. Also, tuna poke appetizer will def be my meal next time! Really enjoyed the pumpernickel crusted salmon and certainly enough for left overs. I will be going back!

I had a very enjoyable dinner with my mom. The chicken wing chowder was delicious. Just enough spice, but not too much. Of course, I had to try the dish that beat Bobby Flay. It was all about the garlic butter. I followed the suggestion from the waitress to add bread to it. She was right. Mom liked her food as well. It was our first time there but definitely not our last.

I want to bring attention to a particular quality of Stone Balloon that makes them stand out from all the other bars on Main Street. It's not their wide selection of beers or delicious mac and cheese, and it's not even because of their amazing bartenders (particularly Dustin and Juliana <3). It's the fact that they serve an amazing side of freshly baked bread, which you can order any time at the bar with your drink for only $1! This bread is so soft, so warm, so incredibly fresh and delicious, that with one bite you instantly enter a paradise in which the only sensations that exist are the feeling of delicious warm bread in your mouth, and the bliss that you feel after consuming it. I have consumed, nay, DEVOURED many loaves of bread at Stone Balloon, and I will gladly come back for more!

We shared the chicken fried deviled eggs that were spectacular, lasagna dip also spectacular, I got the southern shrimp which was almost spectacular but the arugula had to much dressing. It was very good but just too much.

First time at Stone Balloon, stopped in on a last minute decision to grab an earlier dinner. We were able to be seated immediately, by the friendly hostess. Our server was attentive and friendly. First impression of the place was that it was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The menu had many different options from savory and robust to traditional. So much variety, made it hard to decide what to try. We opted for the kettle stack appetizer which is honestly a meal itself.. large portion and filling. The shrimp lejon tacos was a great lighter choice, the dressing had great flavor. My hubby had the old school chicken sandwich with the sweet potato fries.. which those sweet potato fries were delish! Many options on tap at reasonable price.

Stone Balloon is one of the best restaurants in Newark, DE. I’ve been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it’s never been a disappointment. Recently went and got $5 cocktails and keg fries. They are to die for. 10/10

Boyfriend finished the high five burger and got a sweet T-shirt. Food was pretty good. Everything was reasonably priced. The bartender, Michelle had a decent crowd of regulars that she obviously had coming back for more. She had great suggestions. Service was excellent. Loved the atmosphere.

We had my son and daughter in law's wedding rehearsal dinner at the Stone Balloon. Rob, the manager, made it a perfect evening. Our waitress, Olivia, did an awesome job. The food was great! I highly recommend the Stone Balloon.

Appetizers are worth it by themselves. Loved the chicken fried devil eggs, bacon meat lollipops, and mini Cinnabon rounds. Went for brunch and everyone loved their food. Waitress was very attentive. Great service.
