Went with my husband for lunch and ordered spicy tuna, yakisoba, and fried gyoza. Out of the three sushi joints Newberg has, we will be returning here for these items in particular.
We weren't as impressed with the mini cucumber salad and the miso soup that came with the lunch entrees.
We were, however, impressed with the manager. He was very nice and checked in with all the customers. The wait was a little long for some items, but we were aware they just opened and are still in need of more staff. At one point, their only server either left for lunch or her shift ended, so only the manager was working the floor.
Went today for the first and it was great! 10/10 would recommend, super friendly staff and great food.
Plentiful portions with friendly efficient service. We both drank lots of water and the server happily kept our glasses full. We each had bento boxes � that were delicious. Rick had teriyaki and I had spicy chicken. Miso soup was excellent as were the gyoza. We will be back.
I have enjoyed Momijis in both Salem and North Bend and was excited to learn Newberg would be the newest location. Ty, the Manager and Brittney, our server, both greeted us with a sincere welcome. With any grand opening, especially in the food industry, there will be glitches or small errors made. When an order error was brought to Tys attention, he was quick to correct it and have the correct order on our table in a very short time. The food was excellent, our service was excellent, Momijis was a much needed addition to Newbergs dining options. We're glad your here !

Sat there for almost 20 minutes and no one took our order....and they were not busy....at all. Will not be going back.
Update: The manager contacted me and corrected the issue. My boyfriend and I were invited back and we very much enjoyed the food and the staff that go around.

We have been momiji fans for several years in Salem, and Coos bay..had lunch there today, it was excellent. Great service, had the lunch special. We love the sweet firecracker roll..it'll make it tough to go anywhere else. Nice addition to Newberg!

Friendly service, calm motif, presentation was appetizing, and the portions were generous. The prices were on the higher side, this is expected as inflation has impacted all parts of the nation. If you are passing through this place is recommended
The sushi tower is a bit salty, but the fried chicken cutlet is very delicious.
The service is good, the tea set and dolls are very Japanese, very nice.🇯🇵
This is the best sushi restaurant for many miles around. Their service is prompt and friendly. The food is fabulous (try the Calamari Salad) and the menu is extensive! We enjoy their wine choices, which are a step above other sushi places I have frequented. Prices are good, they keep a clean and safe restaurant.
Not a typical elcheapo teriyaki place. It is a budget Japanese restaurant. Good but not great menu selection. Taste is better than most which means a lot to me. Good quantity of food for a reasonable price. Will definitely go again.
Had lunch with a good friend and my son. Really good food even nicer people. I recommend it.
