It was a last minute decision but a very good decision. Delicious food, nice atmosphere, great service. Definitely a hidden gem on the river AND you have to go thru a tunnel to get to it.....what more can you ask for

what an amazing place any time of the year. Pamela's on the Hudson in Newburgh is right on the waterfront with an amazing view nestled in the Hudson Valley. Sparkling and serene. Yet warm, comfortable, and amazing dishes that will serve any appetite including brunch. Very proficient and excellent staff. Entertainment at diverse levels too. If someone wants to take pictures, the lighting is amazing! Definitely worth checking out!

I can’t believe we have never come to Pamela’s as it is so close to us and we are so happy we did. Great unobstructed views of the Hudson, outdoor seating, just the right music playing, great service, delicious food and the Wed dinner special is just the right price. We were delighted to have Pamela come to our table to check in on us and introduce herself. We let her know how perfect our Anniversary dinner was and to our surprise she came out later with two delicious complimentary desserts! Perfect ending to a great night. Thank you Pamela!!

Majical atmosphere along Newburgh’s waterfront. Cozy, fun, friendly, happening. Live entertainment, good food, reasonable prices. A gem. (Parking a little challenging but worth it)

Fantastic Mother's day celebration! So many people wanted to come, they had to extend their hours! Tough to do on a holiday, but they did a great job. It's one of those places that the owner is always in the crowd to ensure everyone had a great experience.

As a musician or simpky as a customer, "Pamelas on the Hudson" is an awesome place to be. Food is great, the atmosphere is cordial and relaxed, and its right on the Hudson River. What a view. Summertime brings people that own boats and ride the river. Winter months brrings entertainment such as myself with the "Bills Toupee Band" to keep the people amused and entertaimed. Definitly recomended. Pamelas on the Hudson!

I was in the area. In my luck I found this place which was 5 minutes from where I was. I ordered the pork chops. I must say perfectly cooked. This was a thick piece of meat and yet it was so moist and flavorful throughout. Kudos to the chef for making a perfect pork chop. The side of apple compote so good as well. Highly recommend. I sat by the window and I was again lucky enough to see a rainbow and an eagle perched on a tree! My waitress was very sweet she even got me binoculars so I can better see the eagle. I gave it a four due to the decor really needing an update. However the experience was nice and the live band was a nice touch as well. If you are in the area I definitely recommend.

Great place on the Hudson. The servers are attentive and nice. The food is delicious and plentiful. The view of the Hudson River and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge is right there for your enjoyment. And yes you can draw on the tables with provided Crayola crayons.

This is our new favorite place to dine! The food was authentic and pure, with subtle yet rich flavorful layers. Chefs are not afraid to let the food speak for itself here. Literally the best crab cakes I have ever tasted! And, the pistachio cake was just fantastic. Sorry, we couldn't post a picture of it because we ate it too fast. Thank you, Pamela, for a totally memorable experience from the plate to the ambiance!

A week ago, we held the Welcome Dinner commencing my daughter’s wedding weekend at Pamela’s on the Hudson. We had over 100 guests. The event was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the drinks, the food and the excellent setting for such an event. I particularly enjoyed how happy my daughter was with the entire affair and all aspects of it. (She can be picky) From planning through completion working with Pamela and her staff was easy. We appreciated Pamela’s attention to details, many we had not even thought of but proved to be important. The location and setting were perfect for an evening event for a large group. The menu suggested was perfect for the event. The service provide by the bartenders, servers and others was very professional and noted by many guests. Thank you to Pamela and her staff.

we had reservations for brunch for a very large party. They were very accommodating. the food ever so fresh and tasty. The service was wonderful. And all of the entrées were reasonably priced. I would highly recommend for a Sunday brunch. This is my first time there I have not yet been there for any other meals. But if it was anything like the brunch I would say it be top-notch. If I could give it six stars I would.

Pamela’s is a hidden gem!. We had Mother’s Day dinner and it was fabulous from drinks to appetizers Ed’s to entrees and desert!. Our server, Lisa, merits special attention as she was so pleasant and made us feel so comfortable. The combo of great scenery, great food and special service made our Mother’s Day dinner a big success!. Pamela’s is now on the top of our list for recommended places!!!. We love Pamela’s on the Hudson, with its “hidden waterfront” ~ amazing views of the Hudson river. There’s a beautiful outdoor porch with plenty of dining area. As well as a very large indoor space with big windows on the Hudson river. One of the most beautiful bars in the Hudson Valley with big floor to ceiling windows looking out on the river. The food is absolutely delicious, Pam Resch is a master chef. Always fresh and innovative. The family loves the steak and seafood options and I love the vegan options. We can always find a great wine list at Pamela‘s and lots of tasty drink specials. And there is often life music on the weekends as well as a lively drag brunch. And a fabulous Sunday brunch #Newburgh #HudsonValley #Brunch

Enjoyed going on Saturday when the restaurant opened. Matthew was a kind, attentive waiter. Food was delicious and timely, I requested a “‘fruity something” and the bartender whipped up a delicious gin based, muddled blueberry concoction that I LOVED. So glad we chose to spend the afternoon meal here!
