Centrally located within a shopping center near the Newbury connector haha. From the outside the place gives off old school taco bell vibes in the best possible way! They have a nice seating area inside as well as an outdoor patio. When you walk in you are blasted with the pictures of all the food and drinks they have to offer. There is no mistaking what you are going to get when you order. The interior is nothing special but they do have big TVs and the dodgers were on so I dont have much to complain about. They offer a lot of drinks like a Michelada or Camaronzito or even a Cuerito not your run of the mill choice for a walk up mexican place. Once you order they bring the food and drinks to your table which is a nice touch. Food we ordered: Free Chips and Salsa Chips were crispy and delicious they have a really good flavor green salsa pico di gallo spicy salsa Hard Taco Combo 3 Tacos: Shells - Deliciously crispy and home-made Refried beans - run of the mill nothing special Mexican rice - Better then most a lot of flavor Shredded Chicken - delicious sauce was very good Carnitas - my least favorite of the three but overall a decent carnitas taco Shredded Beef - THIS IS IT, almost like eating a short-rib delicious and savory I highly recommend the SPICY salsa really enhances the flavor Shredded Chicken Burrito Again the chicken is really flavorful and packed with the rice and beans this is a good choice Drinks: Horchata - decent not overly sweet Michelada - Very good and very refreshing Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Definitely a great local choice run by a great staff.

A lot of good authentic Mexican food. Everything I've eaten there has been good. Sometimes the meat can be a bit fatty, but it's usually seasoned well. The only complaint I have is that when I order food, they usually tell me it'll be ready in 15 minutes, but when I get there 15 minutes later, I end up sitting around 30 minutes or longer waiting for my food. This happens the majority of the time and has resulted in me ordering food from there much less frequently.

Most of the reviews are good reviews, there were a little that almost made me pass it up. But the fact that the owner or manager responded made me feel like it was worth a try and I’m happy I did. Like already commented the staff is very friendly, no one seems to be just standing around everyone including the manager/ owner are staying busy. It was impressive. The restaurant was clean and the salsa bar is wonderful! Not to mention the chips are great. Hate it when places have terrible chips. My burrito was huge and made to order. I’ll be back!

This place is a real authentic tasting place. They even will offer to wrap the biggest burrito they have in bacon and deep fry it. I recommend here for a real meal.
