Wonderful dining experience, from beginning to end. The dining staff had impeccable attention to detail. Food preparation and plating we're to expectations of restaurants of comparable ratings. My fillet mignon was seared and seasoned to perfection. The chocolate mousse dissert was outstanding. Highly recommended!!!

I just had lunch at Andrea at Pelican Hill with my wife on Saturday. We normally would not have gone here because we thought it would be super expensive and it is also further away from the beach than we normally do for a special occasion (my wife’s Birthday). But we found a coupon online for lunch at a good price. We were very pleasantly surprised in many ways. First, the prices are not as high as we thought it would be. The appetizers are a bit higher than normal, but the main courses are about what you would spend at a midrange/high-end restaurant. Their freshly made pasta dishes were under $20 and the filet mignon was around $39 for a big cut. Soup and salads were in the mid-teens, and alcohol drinks are expensive ($15 for a Kettle One Martini with blue chees olives). The blue cheese olives were stuffed these and some of the best I have had. My wife has a long list of allergies, so long we hand the waiter a card listing them. This makes it hard to go out to eat sometimes, but Chef Chris eliminated this issue. Chef came out to our table to go over the list personally and made recommendations and even offered to change the recipe on other dishes so she would not have any issues. One of the dishes I wanted to try was a Hamachi salad appetizer, but of course this had Soy, one of the items my wife could not have. Chef Chris split the order into two separate dishes and from scratch came up with the most amazing Sashimi platter for my wife using blood oranges, which he had bought that day, and other ingredients that I do not remember. On top of some of the best food I have had, the view and service are also awesome. When it comes to this level of restaurant, I am very picky and almost never give all 5-stars, but I would rate this with 6-stars if it was an option. This is a must try place in my book.

Used Travelzoo voucher so the dinner for 4 was a treat. Service and food and views are exceptional. This visit was so much better than last year.

Great food, ocean view, live music and amazing service. Recommend to grab a table in patio (unfortunately you cannot reserve patio in advance, it is first come, first serve).

If you’re looking for a spectacular meal and an excellent dining experience, this is it. Every detail was perfect...and they pay attention to the details. The steak I had was better than any high-end steak house I’ve been to. The risotto was so delicious, I can’t wait to have it again. And the table-side production while creating the risotto was so cool! Every staff member went out of their way to see that we had top-notch service and they were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. This meal was memorable and this restaurant will be added to our “must do” list while in Newport Beach again.

I had probably one of the best meals I've ever had here. I ordered the primavera pasta, and the brussel sprouts. They were so good, I kinda wish I had ordered more. The atmosphere is nice, but it seemed like people were dressed really casually for how nice of a restaurant it is. Our waitress was really super nice and fun. She explained everything clearly and was really fun to talk to.

A restaurant for the rich and famous, this place with vintage decor and architecture is situated beside the Newport beach and the Pelican hill golf course. It offers stunning views of the golf course, the sea and the sunset from its huge courtyard that goes down to the banquet halls from a central fountain. The food is delicious especially the risotto, cheese souffle and the pasta cooked with the finest fish, meat and cheese. Lamb chops are delightfully tasty and tender. The pasta and stirred vegetables are cooked to perfection. Desserts options are yummy with mousse being the best choice. The service is awesome with special attention given by a table head waiter. We enjoyed the wine and cheese entree selected by him and were happy with his choice.

Everything was wonderful! It was a lovely evening. Had a drink on the terrace, while the sun was setting. Then we moved in for dinner, the staff was nice and helpful, and our meal was absolutely delicious. We had a great experience and we can't wait to come back.

For a fancy dinner, this place cannot be topped. Make sure to order the table-side risotto for 2 and the white truffle on top. If they have the Chateau Briand, order that. Its worth every penny

An excellent italian style restaurant in Pelican hill with casual style attire. Indoor and outdoor seating. Live music for dinner (as far as i know). Multiple hostesses and top tier servers. Excellent outside views and good for small and large parties. The best part of the restaurant are the pastries. Their pastry dept is the best in OC. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience. Olive bread was savory. We had wagyu beef carpaccio, foie gras with brioche, mushroom ravioli, and Alaskan halibut. Beef, foie gras, and risotto are really tasty and well cooked. Halibut seems a little salty. For the dessert, we ordered the sample platter, several bite-size pastries, which I think was fine. They were out of truffles that was a little disappointed. Definitely the restaurant I will come back. Server was kind of slow.
