The food is delicious and the price is totally worth it. One of our favorites in Orange County. They have a very creative menu. Also, make sure you keep space for the amazing desserts!

What an amazing place to go to in Newport Beach California! I would go as far as say one of the best places to go dine in Orange County, California.
The services was amazing with those who worked there answering all my questions. If they didn’t know the answer they went to go find out and where back momentarily quickly!
Being vegan/pescatarian they were more then willing to make my dining experience wondrous and rememberable. Food was amazing!
Went there with a large group for a celebration so the service was still wonderful!
I would recommend this amazing wonderful place and will be back to eat there again soon. Thank you Provenance for creating such a fabulous place to go and dine with family, friends, etc.!

Really good food, nicely presented in a comfortable setting. Herbs and small vegetables growing in the patio. Pretty nice wine list. The large cheese board was everyone's fav.

On any clear day, this place is so lovely to enjoy in the outdoor seating area. You get to enjoy and see what you consume in the grow beds next to your table; love the farm-to-table concept. The staff are absolutely amazing as service is always very prompt, at least for the times that I have gone and the food is also unmatched. Note early close time on Sundays. Their house- made biscuits are a must! As food and the experience are subjective, this place is recommended!

I’ve been a regular customer for a few years now and I can’t think of enough positive things to say. The food is always delicious and the chefs are willing to accommodate whatever diet I’m on. The atmosphere is beautiful and the garden outside with fresh herbs is stunning and a jewel for Newport Beach. The staff is always so kind and friendly and work their hardest to ensure the kitchen puts food out in a timely manner. Michelle, Andrew, Brianne, and Fernando are always ready to greet me with a smile and take time to talk to me when they’re able to and build actual relationships. The care this restaurant puts into its relationship with its customers is the same level of care put into the quality of food. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Provenance is one of the best restaurants in the Orange County area. The menu is always updating to reflect the freshest ingredients, and it really represents the Chef’s love of cooking. I have never had a bad meal there, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves cuisine. The restaurant itself is lovely, and I prefer to sit in the patio by the garden, next to the ingredients that Provenance grows itself. Provenance is also locally owned and operated by some of the nicest people I know.

This restaurant located in Newport Beach's Eastbluff Village Center along Upper Newport Bay has a great atmosphere. The chic rustic modern decor along with an organic wall garden in the patio has a lot of charm. We came in for Sunday brunch and it was not busy but the patio dining area was almost filled up leaving the indoor spacious. As for the food, the steak was seasoned nicely however, it was not medium rare as requested. The poached eggs were perfect. The chilaquiles had good flavor but it lacked crispy crunch as the tortilla came out soggy. This dish must have crunch to even everything out. I recommend asking for tortillas on the side. The house made sangria was absent of fruitiness and the mimosa was on the bitter side. Service was generally good. With all things said, this place deserves another try.
2nd Try - The short rib sandwich on brioche was amazing! As for the Espresso Martini, it could use a bolder stronger espresso presence.

Favorite restaurant for us. The menu changes weekly and each presentation is paired perfectly. I am a big dessert person and theirs are among the best. No sugar infusion but , rather whatever the main ingredient is what you taste . The place is quiet so you can have a conversation and you are in a garden or looking at it. It is a hidden jewel in a sleepy center. If the rating went beyond 5 this would be my score.

Great food and an amazing service makes for a great dining experience.

Fresh and delicious food, a lot from their own garden. Good cocktail range too, again using a lot of their garden ingredients. We had the Double Cowboy Ribeye, which is literally two steaks rather than one large one, but none the worse for that.

I currently live outside of Boston and during a business visit had the pleasure of being able to enjoy a meal, which as turned into many, at this location. Every time I am on the West Coast I make a special visit.
The staff is lovely ( the manger knows the names of her guests) they chef is on point with flavors and the interior/exterior is beautiful.
Thank you for having a welcoming amazing spot for me to enjoy!

Comfortable outdoor setting with surrounding garden. Frittata was delicious, eggs Benedict had a twist on the herb sauce. Desserts were tasty and seasonal. Service was good.

It's tucked away in a corner of a small, understated shopping center in Newport Beach by the bluffs. By design, It doesn't look like much from the outside. Upon entering, I felt like I was walking into mon pere's lakehouse. The atmosphere could be best described as changing of the seasons. A bit rustic, but polished. Think woodsy, breezy... The dining room is surrounded by a patio on two sides accessed by accordion patio doors.
We had a fixed menu and everything was served family style. The first course was salad. My favorite was the Heirloom Tomato Salad with burrata, rainbow beets, purple onions, herbs honey, and a balsamic dressing. Simply amazing! I worked to get every ingredient in one bite. The tomatoes were perfect and why I've never thought to use honey and burrata simultaneously is beyond me! It was truly satisfying. I would have been happy with that as a meal. There was also a Garden Lettuce salad with Red Verjus Vinaigrette.
The next course was fish and included Wild Sand Dabs served lemon-piccata style. They came with artichoke and zucchini risotto, heirloom spinach and lemon beurre blanc. I wasn't familiar with sand dabs. I had to google them. They're a flatfish. The preparation was excellent. Even with serving that many people at once the fillets had a nice crisp bite. The risotto was very good. Creamy, with a hint of herbs.
The meat course was Boneless Short Ribs served Osso Buco style with roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables. This was the star of the night. The beef was so tender! The potatoes were a great compliment, but it doesn't appear they did anything with the vegetables except toss them in some oil.
The service was excellent. No wine nor martini glass went unfilled the whole night. Provenance is now permanently on my go-to list for Newport Beach. I'll be back soon!
