I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Everything about eating at the Nye Beach Cafe was phenomenal! The service was fantastic and the food was off the charts. Highly highly recommend if you're in the area. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste the quality. They also have awesome gluten free options. It looks like they only serve breakfast and lunch but a the full menu is served regardless of the time of day. There is limited seating available, less than 10 tables inside and maybe 4 or 5 tables outside.

Best clam chowder on the Oregon coast! Also enjoyed an awesome shrimp Louie salad and delicious spicy tuna sandwich. Friendly and fast service.

Delicious food, amazing service and everyone was so friendly! The artwork inside the building was so neat and gave it a cool feel. Prices were not crazy, 4 adults and 3 children all ate for $100, and the portions were great as you can see from the photos. The food was high quality too! Highly recommend! The Biscuits and Gravy and Bloody Mary were delicious too! They also had some cute mugs available towards the bathroom at decent prices (I wish I got a photo of them...) and the one bathroom were clean and well managed. They did not have a baby changing station so that's something to be aware of, my little and I have had good practice changing standing up as this happens to us regularly.

Our biggest problem was that the hotel breakfast was really pathetic. My daughter and I decided to take a morning stroll instead, and we came upon a beach café. Walked in and saw the most comfy chairs at the counter - we caved to temptation and sat at the counter to watch the kitchen staff. We got to watch the tortilla maker make fresh corn tortillas in the kitchen! The breakfast sandwich was huge and amazing and my beans and tortilla were flavorful and savory and a perfect solution for breakfast. Beautiful place with art, portions are huge, and service was very kind.

Amazing! So, glad we came. Gluten-free bread and pancakes available. I had the corned beef hash. The corn beef was delicious large chunks with perfectly cooked and seasoned potatoes. I couldn’t even finish it and it made me feel bad because it tasted so good I wanted to keep eating it. The portions are so generous though, I could not finish. The gluten-free toast was nice big thick slices, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. my husband had the mama‘s boy omelette come. Basically tasted like a breakfast pizza. Super delicious. The is a must stop if you’re passing through. Very charming atmosphere. Nice clean wood top tables. Wish I was a local so I could come again and again!

What a treat on a stormy morning. Friendly staff, excellent service, delicious breakfast. The French toast is made with homemade sourdough bread. The artwork on the walls makes for a cheery and inviting atmosphere.

The family business here is as beautiful as the food is tasty. I can't imagine a better place. Definitely beats pigs in a blanket. This is the cozy hole in a wall worth enjoying. Thank you Hector for your time even on such a busy day, we greatly appreciate such quality service. Sincerely, Mateo y Selena

Our new place for best gluten free Clam Chowder on the coast. My wife is gluten intolerant - her words "awesome!" And it was awesome. Also, huge lunch servings, and gluten free bread was home fresh baked on site. Recommens Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich. Delicious. We were able to buy a loaf to take home. We can't wait to go back, it is now a destination meal place for us (iykuk) (visit was in July, delayed review)

This place is packed for being so little they bus a ton of people in and out of this little place. It's great to try! I recommend getting their early and getting a name down for a table prior to walking around and enjoying the little shops. My husband has food restrictions he is gluten and lactose free. This place didn't make him sick at all! They have their own Gluten-Free bread/rolls that they make in the shop. It's some of the best bread we have tried that is gluten free. I'll post a pic below, its thick and fluffy, and so tasty. Cheap price for a huge helping of the clam chowder and it was amazing! A must try, 10 out of 10 if you're celiac friendly.

We had a short wait for Sunday lunch, but it was worth it! The staff, while very busy, were friendly and helpful. We had the spicy tuna sandwich, the pastrami sandwich, and some clam chowder. While we aren't sensitive to it, it was good to know that the chowder is gluten-free. Our favorite part of the whole meal was the chowder! It might be the best on the Coast!

This place is a gem!!!! Nothing is better than being away from home and finding a place that serves really fantastic meals! I got the breakfast chili relleno served with 3 corn toritalls, (I got eggs over easy)- and a beautiful relleno that was made with Poblano peppers, cheese, custard base and corn toriallas with beans and eggs. The business staff looks family owned and it seemed like there was even an abuelaita (Little grandma) in the kitchen. This place is a gem! It gets busy quick! And that makes sense the food is good - varied- they have Greek breakfast items- standard classics- breakfast sandwiches- and panckakes- waffles and French toast. The menu all looks good the breakfast chili relleno was a wonderful find- something unique, comforting- and in my opnion one of the best secrets in Newport Oregon. It's also right by Nye beach so you can pack on those calories and feel guilt free with a hike along the coastline! Update: I loved the Renello so much I came back twice- quality and consistency! I like to get this meal with bacon- this meal is the best when work brings me back out to Newport in winter I'll get this again! And the French toast and waffles too. #supportlocal

Sooo good! Ten minute wait at 8, but definitely worth it. Chile Relleno was delicious, as was Greek potatoes and fruit dish. Orange juice was good too. Two outdoor picnic tables and maybe ten tables inside. Great service!

Baked French toast topped with Marrionberry jam was delicious. Bacon slices were large. The sausage gravy for the biscuits had a bit of a clam chowder taste. Not sure if they had a mix up in the kitchen but I won't be ordering that again. Was a nice and clean cafe.

Came in and was sat and greeted right away. Everyone was friendly and the food was fast and amazing. Gluten free clam chowder for the win! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.
