Very nice. Not like other Izzy's. This Izzy's has always maintained a good reputation with me and the people that travel with me. I've eaten in several others, and this is by far the best. The pizzas are kept fresh, the salad bar stocked, and the fried potatoes and chicken cannot be beat! The view is pretty awesome too!

Pretty consistent, the new grill thing was good. I had the ribs and they were good. Pizza is acceptable , the "broasted" chicken is good and fresh, though a little on the skinny side.
This is never going to be fine dining but when you have kids and your too tired to fire up the coleman stove its fine enough.
I alway love the view from this place..so ribs,a cold beer and a fine view what else would you want from a buffet?
Love Izzy's. Their salad bar is always filled with fresh ingredients to build your own salad! The choices of fruit is usually limited to canteloupe and pineapple. There's always a big selection of hot food and of course pizza, which is my FAVORITE! Deserts and always good too!!
Great food. We go there every year when we take the whole family out to eat, because they have a great variety of food and the fried chicken and Pizzza is great as well as the price. Plus the ocean view is great. See you soon!!
Customer service is good. I would like to see a few different items on the buffet occasionally though the food rates four stars. Pizza tends to be a little dried out. Steaks cooked to order and fish offered during the dinner hour for the same price. Terrific dessert bar. Prices are comparable to quality. Beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean while you dine.

We love to come here for the view. We also love the buffet. The pizza has such soft crust with just the right amount of crunch on the outside.
Its not called Izzys anymore. Its the Hill Buffet & Grill. Otherwise everything seems the same. Same food options and same amazing view. Good experience today. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Served cafeteria style. Good food. Very pleased.
We were greeted by a very friendly host his name is Juan. And we sat down and had a very nice view of the sea. Our server greeted us her name is Minerva. She offered drinks and was very prompt. And very nice. We were so happy to be in such a pleasant environment with friendly staff greeting us. Thank you Minerva for the wonderful service and friendly conversation. We will return!!
You can't beat the view from this Izzy's. The food is about the same as any other Izzy's: pretty good but not AMAZING per se. Buffets with all their variety are always fun, though. When we went they had hand-dipped tempura cod at the grill and that was really yummy- and I'm usually not a fan of fish. This had been a long-time favorite place to eat when visiting Newport.
Service was great! & the salads only complaint I have was the chicken wasn't hot enough to my liking..

The food is a lot better then it used to be. I hope the go back to Buffett style when we go to phase 2. They have one of the best views.
Good food, good service, good selection, great views.
Best view in Newport. As far as food, we in Oregon know that Izzy's fare as far as food is the reason we go in the first place. This Izzy's just so happens to have a wonderful view too.
Lunch today, fried chicken, bbq chicken, chicken fingers, ribs, and pizza, too! Great view of the Pacific, friendly staff.

I'm a large family, 2 adults and 3 children, no matter where we go we always pay at least 50$... This was no different. The service is great, the food was flavorful, fresh,and our glasses were never empty. The views are magnificent. And it's a cozy and warm atmosphere. We will definitely eat here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a buffet.
Amazing!!!! Fried fish will blow your mind.Steak is super good. Everything is wonderful. Service great too.Hands down great food. Update dont go in for lunch .Go from 4:00 pm till close .I get there about 3:30 pm the lady who is the day manager gets us set up we get our salads and go to get our hot food when we are told they are pulling lunch and out of ribs hardly no chicken left .We asked if we could choose some dinner items were told no .Didn't get to eat lunch really at all .Night is totally different and great. The older night server is fantastic simply love her.
The food is fresh, looks great, and smells wonderful. The employees are constantly looking to help you and your satisfaction.
Great views & wonderful buffet for under $10!
I can not say enough good about this place. I was a little nervous about the buffet style dining with covid . So the waitresses dish up your plate for you. All you have to do is point to what you would like!! It was great. We were a party of 4. Had 2 gals that were taking care of us. . .wish I had gotten their names. We never wanted for anything .not for one second. They were friendly ,polite,attentive without over doing it. We were all so happy with the food the service the place was spotless s far as clean goes .And o yea even the slot machines were being nice. Can't wait to go back again.
