I love Newport Naturals. It is a very special store with phenomenal staff, a wonderful art-friendly and Arts/artist-supportive cafe with delicious (and reasonably-priced) offerings—one of my favorite places to meet up with friends—and a well-curated inventory throughout featuring local (often organic) purveyors whenever possible including extraordinary produce from Berry Creek Farm and the best yogurt ever from Butterworks Farm. Also: macaroons, craft beer, wine, herbs and spices, nuts and seeds, teas and coffees, raw honey, maple syrup, fresh ginger, fresh turmeric, cbd oil, homemade beef chili, paninis, kombucha, kimchi, chocolate, olives, raw cheeses, healthy soaps and beauty supplies, and, last but not least, the best ice cream of all: Strafford Organic Creamery.
Newport Natural is a not so hidden gem in Newport, VT. Well known by the locals, it is well worth a visit, whether you are traveling by on I-91 (it is 5 minutes from the highway) or just want to find a welcoming space with great local and organic (and vegan!) food. Remember to walk down to the lake, it's just another great reason to visit Newport Natural.
First Time at this place, the Owner was such a great guy! I am gluten and dairy free and they treated me so well. My lunch is outstanding! Thanks for the extra pickle!
