Great food! I got a waffle with whipped cream and real VT maple syrup, which was delicious. The special was amazing, good fresh and local fruit. The corned beef was canned but tasted good, but it was not homemade. The service was excellent, fast and friendly.
First time stopping here everyone was beyond satisfied with our breakfast and the waitress was extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend the meat omelet and the grits!!
Food is always great. I love the food. Service is usually good as well. Coffee could be better but is well made up for by the food.
Homefries are always well seasoned and cooked well. French toast is excellent. Fried eggs are always just about perfect. The Big Deal (menu item) is an excellent value
Cozy environment, breads are superb. My grandson was acting up a bit, my waitress helped me quickly pack up food to go. She was upbeat, friendly, and quick. BLT so delicious.
The food is delicious, the daily specials are unique and tasty, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the portions are generous at a fair price. We are from out of town, but immediately felt welcomed by the staff. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Newport, VT area!
Very good food and our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The breads are homemade and excellent. Highly recommend this little cafe for breakfast and lunch. Sadly, they aren't open for dinner service
Excellent breakfast with a vermont charm. Quite often the owner takes your order & delivers you a very good meal. Ope in the mornings but i think it is closed after 2 pm. She has a senior discount on Tuesday's.
The owners name isn't Brenda but the resturant is.
We have breakfast here almost every Sunday. The food is always great! The service is is unbelievable. The people are always nice and did I mention the food is great! Definitely a gem of the city.

Great Breakfast, eggs are done perfectly the homemade Toast is a winner the only place were you get real crisp potatoes with your eggs, Service is fast and friendly , a must visit while on the way through Newport

The food is very good here and the service is very good here the only thing that really stinks is there hardly any parking and the restaurant is always full and it's hard to get a seat.
Very small diner in the center of town. Great food and service. They were able to accommodate a party of 8 very last minute.
Great food and great atmosphere. Breakfast all day and burgers made to order. What more could you ask for?
