Had a delightful dining experience at Isaac Newton's Bar & Restaurant in Newtown. The staff is customer-centric and the delicious food make it a must-visit. However, if you're looking for a quieter dining spot, keep in mind it can get a bit noisy.
A spectacular beer list and very good food. Amanda was an excellent server. She shared with us that she normally bartends. We have been back every week since we first visited. Malinda is an excellent server. Blackened chicken, bacon bleu salad is amazing. Belgian fries are also great. NEW CONTENT -

The food is pretty good but it is american/sit down bar food. We got the prime rib sandwich which is indeed "shaved" and super thinly sliced. The sauce helps it from being too dry but does contain gorgonzola (advertised) and i suspect some horseradish (not advertised).

Still one of our family’s favorite spots to eat, not just in Newtown, but anywhere! Great food and service, and the best beer list in the area, hands down. Can’t beat the Three B’s Burger, and they have one of the best turkey burgers out there.

I went here isn’t my wife and brother for dinner. I love the meatloaf here with a side of roasted vegetables. Service, food and beers are consistently good. I wish they had Heineken on draft but they always have other good beer selections.
It was a nice evening so we ate El fresco. Staff was very attentive and courteous. The onion soup could have been more flavorful, but the Cubano sandwich was excellent.
