Great established Indian restaurant in Monroe. I wish I knew about this place sooner. They are tucked back in the plaza. The food was great authentic Indian and emphasis on the spicey. We just did take out but the atmosphere was very nice and they were really quick. We had the samosa, naan, and korai chicken. Definitely going back for more.
Best Indian food in the area and I'm lucky to have India Raj so close. Reasonable price, great tasting, attentive/responsive to changes in our order (medium spice, add chicken, etc.) Their staff has always been polite and I'm happy to continue to order weekly.
Went there for the buffet last Wed night. The service is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is always good. Tonight however, they ramped it up and the food was exceptional... Although not vegan, there are always great vegetarian options, and whether you choose the buffet or off the menu, you'll leave having enjoyed your meal.
I can not even begin to say how much I've enjoyed my dinner. That's a blatant lie. The pannier is flavorful and not tough. The papadams were fresh, crunchy and excellently seasoned. The tiki chicken is tender and their various sauces are creamy and rich. So lucky to have such a great local restaurant
